Opps! I forgot too! *Changes Desktop picture*
Here's my desktop's image. http://home.teleport.com/~daberle/s3d/s3dxmas.jpg (Shrunk to 640x480 from 1024x768). It's based on an original image by GlassShard but I extended the sides to make it fit the desktop.
Next year, I plan to set up Xmas lights in my room, and hook them up to my computer so they blink according the song I play in Winamp. (And don't tell me it's impossible, I saw it on The Screen Savers on Tech TV the other day!)

Sadly, I have an ornament of a mouse(rodent) "surfing" on a mouse(input device) sitting on my case. My mom gave it to me last year.

As for me, I have no chrismas decoration on my comp ( except that candle on my monitor)(not burning!) And my desktop wallpaper, ehm, is very un-x-mas ...

hehe all i can see so fay is "dodge this" and i love it. do you use linux or windows? "arbeitzsplat" istn't that like "answer" splat or something like that VERY loosy translated?

Very Nice Alhexx... I once Recreated that shot using Counter-Strike. All you see is a terrorist & his huge gun pointing a bit off to the left, ala the Matrix. I might post an image of it later.

C++: How to Program - Second Edition
it covers all of the basics of c++ in a very nice, well paced way. its a bit expensive, but its the best one ive seen.

Hmm... C++ Book eh? Cool. I'm trying to learn C++ using a copy of Sams "Teach Yourself Visual C++ 6 in 21 Days" that I downloaded off the net a week or two ago. (I'm only on day 3, about to start day 4... I need to continue with that so I can get Kefka rebuilt...)
And no Joey, I don't remember where I got it, and it's too big for me to email it, so please don't ask.

just move that little pentium you have in the back room and bring it out near your main one. oh and why don't you use your ISDN line on your main computer? firewall issues?

ok i downloaded and installed LS. I have win2kpro :( . i set LS only to run under my user. I have photoshop so i'm kind of worried about that one. I'm gonna go look at the FAQ's, but just to get a head start how do you change backgrounds?

Don't move this to the spam forum . . . this is a very good thread. I've been wanting to mess around with LiteStep for a long time now, but never got around to it. I think you've just re-sparked my interest.

i like litestep, but its not fast enough on my comp. i think ill stick with explorer for now.
