Title: Error with creating chocobos in save editor for PC.

Okay, I just registered to ask this question as I cannot find the answer on google or the search here. If this question is a repeat I apologize. I can't locate the answer.

I'm  using the Jenova save editor for my PC and wanted to make a gold chocobo (for FF7) because I cannot make one to save my life. I have the most horrific luck anyone ever had in actually catching the chocobos and even worse luck with breeding. Anyhow, I made a chocobo on the save editor and it's in my stable. however I cannot do anything with it. Chocobo billy says my stables are empty or that I haven't caught one yet when it's sitting right there. I've rented out all 6 of the stables and it's still giving me an error.

Anyone encountered this and knows of a way to fix it? Or anyone encounter this at all?

Any help is really appreciated!

Welcome!

I don't ever remember having a problem like this if you have all the stables. I WILL say that JENOVA, while the best SGE, is incomplete and not 100% reliable. It's terrible at changing stats and a few other things, but I've never had a problem with the stables.

Try catching one (HINT: Odin) and see if Billy sees your Gold Chocobo.

it's basically the same exact thing, but i know the chocobo editor works fine(though Jenova works fine for me as well...)

i know this is a dead thread, but im gonna post this just cause i know the answer and anyone else with this issue can adress this

i find that if you already have a chocobo in the stables, then edit that chocobo using the jenova file editor, then it works, note it has to be the one you already have that you edit.

i did this and it does work, trust meh
