alright, this ties in with something i said way earlier
during the condor boss battle, i instead fought ultimate weapon and he fled after one hit
now, instead of being over the lake, like he should be, he's already over cosmo canyon, and attacking him begins a neverending chain of boss battles with the boss i SHOULD have fought at fort condor, resorting me in having to control alt delete out in order to stop, sinse the battles constantly start before i can even access my menu
i have, no idea, whatsoever, whats doing this, none at all
i have never heard of anything like this on here, so im completely confused, and what sucks is if i remember correctly, ruby weapon is accessed after defeating ultimate weapon, so...
anyway, if anyone has any idea whatsoever, i'll gladly listen
well guys, for tonight though, im getting my ass to bed, i have to miss school tomorrow because my niece is sick and needs someone to look after her, peace out dudes and dudettes (yes i know that sounded cheasy, but oh well)

Do you use any mods? Care to list them?
-
i think you got a problem with your kernel..
coz i saw someone who also has that kind of glitch..
-
as of late, i've only applied stuff from the team avalanche graphic overhaul, and other normal mods i've used tons of times before, i'm gonna try usin some clean kernels
-
yeah.. i think thats a good idea.. :-(
but if it doesn't change anything, try using a clean unmoded ff7..

no, it didn't change even when using clean kernels, this is really f**ked up

When you used the clean kernel, did you start from a previous save file?
If not, it's likely that whatever damage was done, is permanent.
It may be that some mod was glitched or improperly installed from the very beginning and you may need to start from a file made before the application of the mod, which if you're using multiple mods, may require you to restart the game, or never fight Ultima WEAPON or visit Cosmo Canyon ever again.
It may not be impossible to fix, you may be able to change a flag with a memory or save editor to have Ultima already be dead... But I give no guarantees.

i used the clean kernel and started from a save, he was still there, but after replacing my entire data folder, he was still there, then i tried fighting him then pausing, i checked his health on a trainer i got, and it measured him at 0 health, so i put it back up to 20000, then beat him, and he crashed into the mountain as he's supposed to, so whatever the hell kinda glitch occured, it seems to have occured because of something leveling hios health at 0 before the battle, very strange, but at least it was fixable
