i noticed this after i changed the resolution setting on Aali's driver
at first, the game runs at normal speed, but as i continue to play, talking to NPCs and etc., i notice the game slowing down, to the point that when i got cloud running he's at walking speed and when walking.....

i think its because you have low cpu specs..
this happens to me when i increase my resolution coz im playing it in my laptop..

im using a laptop too but the resolution is set to what my computer handles at all times, perhaps if i lowered the res a little?

hah! thats the problem..
coz laptops are not really for gaming so..
you should really lower the resolution..
my laptops resolution is 1280 x 800..
but im playing it in 640 x 480 with 2xq anti aliasing..
it sucks when the game slows down so i got stucked with the default resolution..

My 5 year old laptop runs the game fine at 1280x800 with 4x AA

alright, im running it at 1280x800, what res should i try running it on to see if theres a change? lemme know and i'll give it a try, which would be good sinse any other people (people that are even newer then me at this stuff O.o) have the same issue
-EDIT-
wait, would it have something to do with me having to disable fancy_transparency on Aali's driver? i had to turn it off because it was causing a crash
