I haven't been able to trace the root of this problem, but I have been able to make a workaround.
You need to install it using WallMarket (It's a WallMarket patch, just search for WallMarket on the forums and you should be able to find it).

I've also incorporated this workaround in version 2.5 of the Final Fantasy VII Remix Patch. I'll update it again when I can actually *fix* the problem.

Find the WallMarket patch here (http://mmowned.org/dragon/tite/FF7Remastered.WM) and get wallmarket here (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=7928.0) (you might also need to install the libraries linked to in that post).

Alternatively, you can wait for me to finish uploading the FFVII Remix v2.5 Upgrader in a few hours.

actually, if you use jenova and give sephiroth a weapon other than masamune, he starts attacking the dragon and kills it
