Title: lightsaber?

i know the answer is probably no, but has anyone ever attempted to make some sort of lightsaber retexture for one of clouds sword (or Aeris's staff in terms of a double bladed saber)

im just wondering as im going through yet another star wars faze

i dont think anyone has, but its perfectly possible, just do it like they do in every starwarz game. make a hilt, then the blade is just an glow texture will the edges alpha'd off, and put on a falt plane, which is repeated at rotations about 4-6 times

Yeah, I think it was Murak Modder who made one a while back.  Not sure if it's still up here or not.  Or if he even released it.

.....I don't think Murak ever actually made a lightsaber before.

There was a crappy recolour of the Masamune though. XD

although, this was whipped up to test using the latest kimera to import textures in FF7.
