General Discussion / Re: Save and Load state mods
« on: 2016-02-08 05:35:38 »
Awesome, I'll have to check that out. I'm currently playing FFVIII at the moment, but I already have FFVII all modded out and ready to go. I'll probably get to it sometime before the remake hits the shelves...praying they don't totally screw it up.

At least we have these amazing people that take the time to make our favorite Final Fantasy games look beautiful, so it won't be a total let down if it gets completely ruined by someone who can't apprecuate the perfection that was FFVII without having to change it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it

General Discussion / Save and Load state mods
« on: 2016-02-08 03:03:42 »
Ok, I'm no modder so I have no idea how hard it would be for someone to come up with a save/load state mod. Would this be something that would be relatively easy to do or near impossible to pull off?

I think it would be a great addition especially in FFVIII, among others, during card battles or time sensitive events. Anyway, just a thought, if anyone has already come out with one, I'd appreciate it if someone could post a link.

I guess I was just exhausted from staying up too late last night, I usually attempt everything before I jump to the forums to ask. Anyway, I verified the integrity of the cache, as fatedcourage said, and everything works fine now. Thank you very much for the help!

As it states in the title everytime I attempt to leave Balamb Gardens the game freezes and I have to close it using alt+f4. I am using most of the Tonberry graphic mods as well as the xbox 360 button layout mod. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows of a way I can attempt to fix it without having to start from scratch. All of the textures look great inside Balamb Gardens, so I thought maybe it had something to do with the Horizon 2.1 mod, but I tried to remove the files with no success, so maybe it's something else. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Not sure what I did wrong since the instructions are very simple to follow, but this mod doesn't seem to be working for me. I downloaded and copied the into my textures folder, but  when I load the game all the textures look exactly the same as if I hadn't changed anything at all.

I'm using Tonberry 1.6 and I'm not getting any errors or crashes whatsoever. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it, last mod I wanted, all the rest are working great! Let me know if you need anymore info.

I figured it out, apparently I was missing the hashmap file, found it this morning after reading more of the forum posts and got it working. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do to make our favorite games look great!   :-D
