Hrmm, I'd love to help aswell, but do I need some sort of knowledge of C/C++? I can do some stuff with LUA, but just very basic stuff, but I'm advanced at VB6.0, but I guess that doesn't help much. :P

But anyways, if I can help in anyway, just let me know, I'll be glad to. :)

Well, I've asked Qhimm himself the same questions about 3 months ago, and it seems the project is entirely stopped. But, there are alternatives, such as the project that I'm creating ( http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=7344.0 ) and also there's Triple Triad Extreme ( http://tripletriadextreme.com ).

Well, I've been developing my own Triple Triad game for a long long while(Made some stuff for 2 weeks, dumped it for 6 months and did something again, and another 5 months break and just felt like coding something again. :) ), it's coded in VB6.0(I just happen to like VB6 :) ), and remember, it's only just a Beta, nothing huge hasn't been implemented yet. Here's a list what's in right now tho:

- Local Login & Register system(Once the final version is out it will be using MySQL)
- Basic card system(Player doesn't have all the cards that are possible to get atm, and has only 10 cards 1 each)
- Basic card battle system(No computer controlled AI or anything atm, the player controls the 'Red' and the 'Blue' player and chooses both's cards from the 10 cards available).
- Rix's ACP v0.1(Admin Control Panel made for this game, currently has only the options to create your own cards and add more administrators)

That's about it right now, if ya want me to upload it somewhere else than RS, give me a link to the site to upload to and I'll upload it. :)

And no source code for the public yet, as it will be released along with the final version.

Testing users(In TTU):

- Pass: qhimm

I got a few questions(Just out of curiosity):

Are you going to use LUA as a main scripting thingy for QQears on later versions(Cause if ya'd use LUA in QQears so that you could change lots of stuff just from the scripts, that would make it easier to customize it for your own likings)?
If you are going to use LUA as a main script that would control the games stuffies, would ya need any help with creating LUA scripts(Self learnt)?

Also, a suggestion(About yoshi314's post):

I also think so that you should use some other model types instead of FF7's original's, 'cause they're easier to create(For example, .mdl used in Quake/Half-Life) and should give less problems to work with than when working with FF7's model files.

I had a similar error attempting to extract with one specific virtual drive program, but not another. Are you trying to use a real disc, or an image?

The game itself works properly on Vista, although it's incredibly slow even on powerful hardware.

It's an original disc, bought from store, so what's the problem?
Oh ye, the normal PC version of FFVII works just fine for me.

Well, I yesterday installed Vista Ultimate, and it's working really nicely. Well, until I tried playing FF7 that is.

Well, I normally installed FF7 from my cd's, and when I tried playing it, it went into the game, I wondered why the FMV's in the start(The Logo and stuff) wouldn't show up, then I pressed enter and it went into the menu, and I just thought it was something bugged. Well, then I played it a bit until the first reactor explosion, and that's where it got f*cked up. The game got stuck when it started playing the fmv, in the same way as it did in the beginning.

I checked the FF7 FAQ thing about the truemotion thing, but it was already disabled, so what could be the problem?

Comp specs:
Abit NF7-S2G
AMD Athlon 3200+(2,1 gHz)
Ati Radeon 9600XT(256MB)
512Mb Kingston 333 mHz
Vista Ultimate(Version 6.0) X86.

I was just gonna make an thread like this, but yeah, I'd love to find out more about how to do this stuff :P
I've been coding in PHP, VB6, Pawn/Small, Ruby(On RMXP) and some else minor stuff, but I'm totally intrested in stuff like Q-Qears and basically anything that has part in FFVII & FFVIII 'hacking'.
So yeah, thanks for any help, if any will come ^^.
