Hey there! Fellow FF8RE modder here.

Yeah, that limit break priority can get a little crazy with high speed, huh? I've noticed the same thing.

One idea might be a cap on how much the ATB gauge can refill after a Limit Break.  That way, even with super speed, it wouldn't completely lock enemies out.  Or maybe a diminishing return on the refill – the faster you are, the less the gauge refills after a Limit Break.

Just spitballin' here! What do you think?

Having recently completed the FF7 Remake, my sentiments are divided. While the fidelity of Nobuo Uematsu's iconic music and the stunning graphics captivated me, the combat mechanics left me wanting. Despite the visual splendor, the linear exploration felt like traversing endless hallways, devoid of meaningful engagement. Additionally, the introduction of new characters felt disconnected, leaving me with a sense of indifference towards the narrative. Amidst critical acclaim, my contrasting perspective leaves me questioning the divergence from my expectations. Does anyone else share these sentiments?

Is the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth truly living up to the hype, or is it falling short of expectations? As a fan eagerly awaiting its release, I found myself disappointed by the shift to an open-world format. While the Remake offered compelling elements despite its limited landscapes, Rebirth's expansive yet monotonous environments left me feeling disillusioned. In an era where games like Ghost of Tsushima, Elden Ring, and Yakuza Like a Dragon excel in their innovation and depth, Rebirth's repetitive tasks and uninspired side quests pale in comparison. The main storyline and art direction impress, but the tedious chocobo searches and incessant interruptions from Chadley detract from the overall experience. Are others feeling similarly disheartened by Rebirth's departure from the more focused, narrative-driven gameplay of its predecessor?
