Ok for all you whiners out there  :-P I threw in the original items for now. Just put these files in the menuart folder (assuming you are using the latest beta, or else just put in the textures folder)

Thank You, Thank You!

I actually don't mind the circles instead of the flames, but flames would probably be better

Me and Blood Crow have done this too, but we used the chibi model from the Chibi Reconstruction, will be included in the V1.5 update  :-D

Edit: Heres the Image, he's a bit small at the moment. but I'll resize :)

To add the textures, extract your char.lgp and your high_us.lgp into separate folders, copy aabb.tex, aabc.tex and aabd.tex from the char folder into the high_us folder, open kimera, load clouds bike model from high_us, select his head, and select 'show texture options' then click add texture and add aabb.tex. do the same for the others.

I think it isn't needed any more if you have the custom graphics driver.

Yeah, that's correct, the custom driver is possibly the best mod you can get

Are the Items in the Item Menu supposed to be purple?

Yes, they have not been redone yet

I know you're getting around to it and I don't want to seem ungrateful (because I am VERY) but the items in the menu have that discoloration bug still and it seems like a relatively simple fix granted, I lack the understanding necessary of your texturing system to do anything about it.

Can you not keep them as they were originally until you get around to fixing them up?

I also had this problem, nothing changed in my game, do you have to run the patch.bat in command prompt?

Is the bio.tex and boom_a.tex supposed to be in the magic lgp? because beta 5 has them in the menu_us.lgp folder...

MXster, halkun is only doing his job on these forums. you can either have the threads locked, or get slapped with a lawsuit.

said lawsuit could close all of qhimm alone. so would you rather cut off a finger or lose the entire hand?

I know what your saying, I just feel that qhimm was 'More Fun' when there were topics about ripping models, I mean we're not supposed to put screen shots of ripped models up anymore, we can't even ask for help with editing psp versions of the game  :|

If everyone else is ignoring a "mean" / "trolling" post, please follow suite and do the same.  You will accomplish nothing by responding to it.

and don't pretend that its just me that feels this way, when the rule changed alot of people complained...

about to text the new version. Thanks for your work on the project :-D

EDIT: do you just have a stock model for adding hands? Or so you remake them manually?

Stock Models for the NPC's, otherwise it would take ages, its just a basic mod to get rid of the stupid square hands and arms

Maybe you should lock this topic Halkun, your good at that, nobody seems interested in this 'idea'

If you were using wall market before without problems, its not wall market, have you installed anything else on your computer? If yes, try a system restore to a point before it started auto-shutdown, thats the only thing I can suggest...

The mirror link is the FF7 driver, I'm looking to get the FF8 one.  Would anyone who happens to have it be able to host it so I can get it?  big thanks.
Here is a temporary mirror of FF8 .2a OpenGLhttp://www.mediafire.com/download.php?qhh12duzzdw
I had to combine the files myself, so something COULD be missing

Thanks for this Mirror, I've just re-installed my copy of FF8 and wanted this driver
