I tried using the new version to save a new pose to that file, andf it bloated up to over a gig. I trashed the file and I'm starting from scratch...1 gig was ridiculous. :\

Also....

Not quite as much a challenge as Tseng, but then again, I'm still working on rearranging the hair.... ::twitch::

...And now it's not saving poses at all, anymore.

No, that's actually MC Hammer's body with the head of some freakish annoyance I have to deal with on AOL occassionally.  :P

Hmn.  Well, if that's not it, anyone have any other ideas?

It was an Arcade release before being ported to the PSX....The RPG aspect is pretty much what you'd expect from an Arcade game, not much more.  Fight opponent X to get to Y to get to Z to get to BOSS to get high score.  :P

Just out of curiosity, has anyone taken a crack at the models and whatnot from Ergheiz?

Skeleton Info?  Aside from Hex Editing, I wasn't aware of a way to edit the actual skeletons yet.  I've been making do with the existing ones.  Tseng is modeled on the first Reno's skeleton.

I'd send you the file to examine directly, since I haven't gotten into Hex-editing or whatnot yet, but I don't know if you'd want a file that big.

ShinRa Fleet Yards Type a4 gamma "Koltrast" Assault Gunship
Still tweaking it, but I think it's looking rather nice so far.   8)
It may not look it, but those are Co-axial Contrarotating props, which I do have rotating correctly in Ifalna using an existing Animation.  gg ez $$ :D

For some reason, when I try and export images from the decrepit and barely functional version of Adobe PhotoDeluxe 1.0 to JPEG format, they're massively bloated.  I think it saves the different layers as seperate JPEGs, and then mashes them together, or something similarly horrendously inefficient.  I usually run graphics through MSPaint or AOL, or any kind of program that'll convert images to get a more reasonable file siaze....but like I said, I hadn't meant for that one to last this long... -.-

Well, maybe this'll make people happy...

...or give them the willies.

Alhexx, I don't know if you've read all my ramblings recently, but might this have something to do with **ab files, if they are texture related?  In case it doesn't mention it, the Battle sprite heads have the same deal as far as I can tell.

Nope...No more than one +  I'm not sure when exactly it bloated up, or at what rate.  I didn't really think to check it, and found out how big it'd gotten looking for something else....

Hmn.  http://members.aol.com/falrika/0wnage.swf  Uprated into Flash format.  @_@  First time I fiddled with flash, too, so it might not be of the quality you'd expect...

Uh...  This avatar isn't the insanely huge file I had when the forums got the refit, if that's what you're talking about.  That was the ShinRa, Inc. Indoctrination Video.  This one I'd created it as a background for the ShinRa battle sprite graphics, and did a quick resize of it for the avatar, planning on doing more work on it the next day....but then Seph and I got into our little Graphics War...

 @_@

Yeah, It doesn't blend well.  Too dark, for starters.  I should be able to get to it soon.... :roll:

Odd.  LGPtools views them just fine for me.

btw

da isn't a texture.    Basically, ac-al (although I don't think anything goes anywhere near that high) are Textures.  SAAC is Seph's mouth, SAAD is his eye.  Most likely the same for the other Sephiroth model (MUAC, MUAD).

See, I was busy with this today....

I can't help it if your browser doesn't properly support 32-bit PNG files. NS6 runs them perfectly.

Since it doesn't seem many people use NS6, you can help by converting it to a GIF....   :roll: ::innocent whistle.  flee.::

Change the position of a part of the model?  Uh, only by moving the skeleton around at the moment.  If something similar to the Field Sprite's HRC files is decoded, then you should be able to fiddle with the actual skeleton....but I don't think that's possible at the moment.

In theory, you *could* try importing the .p files for the model you want to use into a seperate LGP, write up a HRC for it, and fiddle with it in Ifalna...except battle scale models won't fit in Ifalna's zoom range.  And Scaling down battle files using Ultima is more effort than it's worth, at the moment, really.  :\  I guess I'll just have to wait, and continue sacrificing fatted Porn Spam to the FF7 hax0r gods...   :weep:

And, for the forseeable future, the final version.

...Usermoves.dat has bloated to 414 MB  And I've only got about 6 poses or so.

I said I still needed to do some work on it.  :P

That, and I don't see the Turks as wandering around with giant meat cleavers or megaphones.

But yeah, that's what happens when you try and mount Rude's Torso on Reno's skeleton.  O_o  I've already fixed up most of it.  I should have a final, or close-to version done in a few more hours.  Not sure what my next project will be yet.

Word.

Still needs work, obviously.

Pose saving is still a bit buggy.  Sometimes it'll save it right, sometimes it won't...I haven't figured out what exactly the problem is.  I'll look into it some more tomorrow.

Hmn...It's coming along great, dude.  :)

One question, though;
How is it reading the lgp, from the TOC, or is it bypassing it and going directly to the files?

I tried doing the same trick I've been doing to view/animate custom and edited sprites with Ifalna, but It doesn't seem to be working, and I'm guessing that's why.

I wanted to finish up that pic with the Tseng edit I've busted together, but I guess this'll have to do for now;
