Bwahahahaha. I remember that. Classic childhood memory right there.

These models are fantastic. Is there still no known way to put these into the game? FF8 is my LEAST favorite FF, but I would be willing to give it another chance with these awesome models!

It was a fantastic movie. I honestly didn't think that it would even come close to The Dark Knight, but I was wrong. Tom hardy as Bane was absolutely frightening. I also had doubts with Anne Hathaway as Selena Kyle, but she also did a very good job. I was completely interested in this movie from start to finish. And they maybe left open a new series with Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Robin/Nightwing. I highly recommend to anyone to go see this amazing film!

Releases / Re: [REL] Menu Overhaul Project
« on: 2012-07-22 07:00:53 »
Yeah assuming you used fresh flevel to begin with, it will have pulled it out of backup and placed it back.  Is the text the correct way around btw?

i.e

YES
NO

on both?  In other words, is the fault the text is the wrong way around or that the option is broken.

Ok just checked again without Overhaul installed. The text is still the same No first and then Yes. But selecting the options are correct. No is No and Yes is Yes. Here is another screen shot showing the word positions. http://imageshack.us/f/198/ff72012072123542399.jpg/

So with the Overhaul installed the options are in the same position, but are reversed in choosing yes or no.

When you used a fresh flevel, did it do the same thing?  Guy below you says it does.

Does uninstalling the Overhaul give you a fresh flevel from backup? What I did was uninstall the overhaul and just try again without it installed and the yes/no options weren't reversed. If i have to reinstall the game itself, I haven't tried that.

I don't know. I'd have to check.

Edit: Without the Menu Overhaul it is working correctly.

no means yes, yes means no lol

Well yeah, he learned to read from a game with various translation issues. :P

Hahaha.

Asmodean, just tried using your shader in ePSXe as well and it wouldn't load. I renamed the files correctly. Also, as far as VII goes I thought I would let you know I also use an ATI card (Radeon 6720G2). Hope you can get this all sorted out. Good luck!

Edit: I just noticed the .post file I changed for use with epsxe is still reading as a 'post' file, while the main.vert switched to a SLV file. I play FFIX on epsxe with shaders, so they're not completely new to me. I just don't know how to change a POST file to a SLF file. Thanks in advance for any help!

I have gotten the shader to work. I forgot to add .post when i changed the shader name in my config lol. All versions, 2.0, 4.0, and 5.0 are working. All seem a little sluggish as Leon said. I also agree about the image, it looks sharper but also a little darker. And I can't really see any 'Bloom'  Maybe that's just me.

Can't get the shader to load. I changed the source name in my config file. I also tried all 3 shader versions. Here is my app log:

Do you have a numpad? The PC version keyboard default keys use the numpads 8,4,6,and 2 to move the cursor. If i'm not mistaking, there used to be a patch to change it? I can't remember though. I'm also on a laptop but I have my config to use the arrow keys to move and enter to bring up the menu. If you can't figure it out I could probably upload my config file for you.

Already said its based on Dissidia modeled from scratch though i dont own that game or even know how to rip models from games lol.

None of my models are going to be released though there just a personnel hobby ive taken up as side work from my main modeling with BloodWorK

Well that sucks. You are a very talented modeler, and I would love to see your Tifa in the game. Hopefully at some point we can convince you to release her  ::)

Wow, that is a damn shame. It just happened to me again. After switching to disc 2 and Cloud seeing Sephi going towards the Snow fields. I'm sure someone on these forums will figure it out eventually. I have great faith in you guys

Haha, I totally spaced. I didn't even notice the picture above had the same issue as mine. Was looking at Tseng and Sephi lol. So there's no known fix for this yet? If not, it doesn't bother me so much. As I said, everything in the field is working just fine. Plus, I just whooped Demon Gate's...arms and head

Just installed U03. I found a couple of glitches shown here with Aerith

And here with Sephiroth (sorry if you can barely see)

Basically both of them are missing their heads and body. Now, these are just with the cut-scenes, on the field they both look fine.
