Need your Profile Details before we can understand fully what you’re loading up to play.

1. Probably due to direct mode being off. Your Cloud model is probably not assigned to a direct mode folder, so it’ll be the only one that loads.

2. Remako is probably assigned to load from an Aali Driver folder labeled reunion, but the 7H tutorial uses Textures as the assigned folder.

3. Nothing in Tweaks and Cheats would cause that since they are only .exe hex edits. Wrong random encounters are due to an incorrect lookup table loaded through the scene.bin. Need to see your Profile Details to know which mods are loading a new scene.bin for you.

4. PP failure is from the / being the wrong way labeled in the ff7_opengl.cfg. Long loads might be from music or direct folders being duplicated in the Workshop->General Settings->Additional Folders box. Delete them to only show one of each.

The game converter will ask if you want to copy the game folder to another location if it's installed in a system folder (in your case, Program Files (x86). When it copies it over, it points the registry keys to that new location.

Activation order has no effect on the outcome. Only the load order before hitting the Launch Game button.

3-day weekend and typhoon 17 sweeping into Japan this weekend, so I’ll probably be indoors most of the time. I “hope” I can release something this weekend, but I’m not promising anything. It’ll be done when it’s done is the only real answer I can give.

Where can I find my PP.LOG and FF7_GC.LOG?

They're in the game folder. Use the Profile Details button to copy your mod setup. No one knows what options are configured in that screenshot.

Still, it doesn't work. When I launch the game, the screen fades to black (as if it were starting) but then, it crashes. I tried both exes, ff7_bc and ff7 and neither seem to work

"...the screen fades to black but then crashes..." Can you be more specific. Fades from what to black? What crash are you experiencing (window close without a message, "Oops..." crash, 7H client crash/message)?

opengl driver configuration is a label from an older version of 7H. What versions have you used before and are currently using?

After clicking the OK button within Workshop->Aali Driver Settings, you should see a the message "OpenGL settings saved." The settings are saved in ff7_opengl.cfg and can be manually changed with a text editor. Run the GC again and choose the Overwrite (O) option to setup the Aali Driver.

The Aali Modpath folder should be labeled "Textures" by default after running FF7_GameConverter_7H.exe. The folder itself will remain empty since 7H is a memory injection tool. Files will be placed in it temporarily after a game launch, and taken out after a game close. The name of the folder itself doesn't matter, but since it's used to load modded PNG textures, it's been appropriately named "Textures". Workshop->General Settings->Textures Path needs to point to [gamedir]\mods\Textures and "mod_path = Textures" needs to be set within ff7_opengl.cfg for texture mods to appear ingame. Running the game converter should avoid all this manual setup, but there's always these corky user error cases that pop up that can't be controlled.

It closest resembles Active turn-based where instead of only the enemy being the active AI, everything is active AI. Watch all the AI battle itself until your ATB is full, then choose a Command to throw into the mix. Rinse and repeat.

It will work, but it needs to be loaded above the others. Priority is given from top to bottom in the Active Mods tab.
