I created this thread as a fun way to share what games you are playing. My Idea is to give you guys a vague "Reference" to the game Im playing, and allow you to guess it.

The person who guesses correctly is then free to post their vague "Reference" for the game they are playing as well.

Lets start off with HARD references for now, and move on to easier ones if noone can guess until the game is guessed. Reference could be a name, a quote, an event, or anything.

Game Text Quote "How could you steal lunch from a poor,defenseless old man?"

Now come on guys I expect this to be gotten right off.

My only issue with Camstudio is the lack of motion capture. Watch a youtube video comparing camtasia to fraps. Hell I even have both versions on my youtube if you want to see. Camtasia just CANT follow movement without skipping to hell. Fraps can.

I have an AMD Phenom II 955 BE 4x OC'ed to 4.0ghz
2 HD5770's

Framerate drop in ff7, 2 in battle, 6 in field.

Framerate drop in Dirt 2, GHIII,Resident Evil 5, Spore, Prototype,Etc is NEGLIGIBLE.
Sometimes you can see it dip from 60 to 59. Ive always wondered why such an old game would slow fraps down worse than Resident Evil 5 at 1920x1080 Max Detail with 32x Forced AA and 16x Anisotropy with triple buffering and all other possible options selected.

fraps is much better, but puts out huge files, so youll need something to convert them to something smaller without losing quality.

Camstudio works better for app tutorials, while fraps is more suited to motion-specific tasks(I.E. Games)

Download the rpg maker yourself without purchase for the runtimes pyro....have been making rpg maker games since 2002.

And trust mee furzball, if your new to rpg maker, DO NOT MAKE A GAME YET. You will only delete it and hate it. Until you get scripting down inside rpg maker, you can only hope to have a very mediocre game, that only runs of RPG Makers built in mechanics.

I used to belong to a game making "company" lol as we called ourselves, called FalconX.Only it was us making free games so I dont know how we thought we were a company. We made many FF remakes and some very original ggames. One of our members scripted a TCG in this engine.The way rph maker works, you can implement ANYTHING you want, materia wont be so hard,you just have to learn scripting and then make the materia yourself, you will not have many references to go by, you will be inventing it. But thats what we did in the day.

Good point, it may be because its pixelated, but Ill try and make it look more like the field screen bricks if possible. I agree they shouldnt look brand new, but not super cracker, dirty either.

Im also working a way to randomize the brick pattern to where it isnt 100% patterned like that, give it some randomness ya know?

Taking that there is new interest in the project, I will continue work,

Dragon age is gay as hell, played it for like 10 hrs and quit. WAS REALLY FUN at first, but quickly became less than mediocre.
