Completely Unrelated / Hardest games you've ever played?
« on: 2010-12-03 21:51:19 »
being in the spirit of top ten, and wanting attention, I thought it would be fun to think of the hardest games you've ever played. One I can think of is Sniper Elite for the PS2. It was insanely long, and you stood no chance of survival if you were discovered. I still thought it was fun, but it was damn hard. And in my opinion, FF8 was hard. The story is great, but for people just coming off of FF7, the system was hard to get used to. The materia slots worked so well and were easy to follow, and you could learn them quick. I personally don't think that could be said of FF8, but hey, that's just me.

So I got my wisdom teeth out last friday, and I have to say I am really sick of pudding. I ate a ton of it, and probably won't be able to eat it for a while.

Well those are pretty cool dude, but like they said, too busy, and if I were you, I would experiment more with layering. Your characters are overlapping, but not in a good way. Some of that clutter might be avoided with more layers. Hope it helps, looking forward to more!

Read about this in game informer, and let me tell you, you are a hero. This looks INSANE!

Jeepers Creepers is one that had me scared, although the acting was subpar. Can't seem to think of any that kept me up late at night. Outside of Paranormal Activity.

But obesebear, I was pointing out even further how great of a mod you are. I mean, I thought that would have at least crossed your mind about his posting violations, however little and stupid they were. I WAS trying to help you mod, this thread! Please man, I'm taking your advice and trying not to be so uptight. As for the rabid destruction, that was an improvement compared to what was the administration before the troll apocolapse happened to this forum. Complaining? Never once did.

Well obesebear, I apologized for offending you. I said nothing in my last post to whine or degrade you or anything. I have made no contributions to this forum. At all. The only thing I can think of was helping Mendelevium on a project, but that was for just ideas. I like the completely unrelated and genereal forums. That's where I post, outside of asking for help (which always seems to come back in a negative response). Furthermore, I never said anything about the ass kissing that was implied by Armorvil, I only implied that this post could have been moderated to the effect that drfeelgud implied as "handled well." So please, don't consider this whining, because if I was doing that I would have already been banned and muted and chastised and made an example of and had been considered the next lulzy troll to stalk these forums. I just said that this was not something I would have put in a post, but rather in a pm. I said nothing in disagreement either. So where does this feeling of threat come in? I never said anyone was a bad moderator. I just said it was something to think about. /confused.

I was just pointing out something that I thought would agree with his point. Sorry I offended you, Mr. Moderator. There's no need to question my age or whether or not I'm telling the truth. I was.

I believe this could have been said in a pm. And also, if he's such an intimidating man, why didn't he chastise you about this -

:-\The Qhimm Forum is not your "blog".

What we mean by this, is please don't create mindless threads that are off-topic to the community.

If you have a topic of reasonable discussion to post, then by all means, please post away and let the intelligent discussion begin. However, we do not want to see random posts of "I ate cookies today" or "My car is blue", etc. etc. Even within the Completely Unrelated forum, there is no place on Qhimm for such threads. They provide no topic for discussion and are generally useless and become filled with useless replies.

It makes one think.

I agree with Kudistos. When it gets super bad, Qhimm steps in. PMs (ha PMS) can be ignored, as annoying as they can be. I personally think that giving the ban rights to mods would let a little more power go to their head. I agree that SL would be a good person to give it to though, if it ever happens. But I really think its not necessary, since everyone that bothers this forum is already banned or moderated.

Well so far, I believe my problem was I didn't have TrueMotion 2.0. So I downloaded that after I reinstalled, and it works. So tomorrow I'm going to download all of this stuff again (1.02 and Custom) and see where it goes from there. I'm so glad the admins on this forum helped show me that. Thanks guys. Really appreciate it.

74
What do you mean by that? I looked around. I'm legal. i'm asking the right people for help. And what's an app.log?

75
Hey guys, finally got that install disc I was looking for. So I went and got the 1.02 patch, and the Custom driver patch. But in Aali's info thread,it tells me to change settings with theff7.cfd file, and I don't know how to do that. I read through different threads and couldn't find an answer. So I booted up the game to try to play it, but the Eidos and Squaresoft Logos never came up, but when i clicked the "action" button on my game[ad it went to the new/ load screen. I clicked new game and it went black, and wouldn't load the intro movie. Any help/ info on what I did wrong? Thanks.
