Troubleshooting / FF7 Music Not playing...

ok i fixed the crashing problem... somehow.

Now the music won't play when I run FF7 music...

Here are my search paths, it's just silent when the game plays.

I've heard that one... its like some desert Sephiroth theme.

I'm not feeling it, much like most other themes. The "horror" Sephiroth mix is MILES ahead of this one.

It isn't just Nomura though... it is everyone else that has allowed it to happen and more importantly, the fanbase that keep buying this sh*t.

Well if something FF7 related comes out, I will likely buy it. I gotta keep the hope...

But Nomura is the main character designer and was director of Advent Children... He also helped to spearhead the Compilation of FF7. He's had a huge impact on what has happened.

It also doesn't help that basically everyone from the original Squaresoft team has up and left the company to start Mistwalker (or whatever they are called) which is apparently making some great games these days.

to me sounds pretty good tell me what you think of it this sounds like it will be suited when you play in the battle with this music

Its one of the many reasons I hate OCRemix. I feel like they butcher the original songs in their remixes. While that isn't the case, it doesn't have the feel that the AC has and it feels far from the original.

You're gonna laugh when you hear what music i used in ficedula's music patch...some of them i mean.But not these: Boss Battle music i used the mp3 of Those Who Fight Further from the ACC soudtrack. The motorcycle minigame/escape from shinra uses The Chase on the Highway also from ACC. One-winged angel in ficedula's pack i replaced with One-Winged Angel of ACC soundtrack. THAT is definitely better than the game's one-winged angel and it's remastered one. And of course that orchestral Highwind Theme for Highwind takes to the skies(the one i posted here).....

Well, I want to keep this soundtrack to covers of the originals. I find OWA and JENOVA themes from ACC to be the only ones that are worthy to replace the originals.

The user has made his own comments. But i feel it is so much more than just getting the real feeling of flying through the air. Just my opinion, but i fell this is perfect as an epic ending song where the Hero and his girl are in their stereotypical romantic moments as the gigantic airship/or spaceship(in my mind) takes journey across the stars.....please do list this one.

This is designed to be a fun little side project. Basically the idea is to get the absolute best possible quality tracks of each song from the FF7 OST. Whether or not it's by an orchestra or by some random guy, this project is just ment to list each song from the OST with a link of the best remix/cover of that song from anywhere on the internet.

This isn't a downloadable thing (although some sites may allow this, Newgrounds for example) and I don't plan for it to be. This is basically just the "all stars" of each song on the OST.

I will gladly take suggestions and there can be debate of which song should take the spot. I will have a changelog at the bottom for when a new song hits or whatever. This is a running list so whatever is empty, feel free to suggest for.

I highly recommend Youtube and Newgrounds Audio Portal for finding these remixes/covers. Basically the idea is to get the best quality track that keeps as true to the original as possible.

Orchestra would be preferable, but if the song calls for something techno or whatever, feel free to suggest.

Quick question... do you plan to make an installer and an uninstaller (to make the process extremely smooth for transitioning back and forth between this and the original)?

And is there any percentage of being done?
