Your a bunch of fucking retards seriously get a fucking life u pathetic pieces of sh*t. Try fucking something other than your computer and you might get somewhere in life other than your basement.
Its the equivilant of saying, Its just my opinion.
And i have no idea how it originated but its been a very common saying for quite some time. It might have originated over here because we used to have 1c & 2c coins but thats just a wild stab in the dark.
Um... what does "made for the US-version" actually mean ?
The patch does read the filesize of the ff7.exe (I guess)
So, the size seems to be not the same...
Is the size the only factor, when the patch "looks" at the ff7.exe ?
Or are there other factors too ?
If the filesizesize is the only one, it would perhaps be possible to decompile the patch and set a new value for the filesize (theoreticaly, at least)
Just my two cents...
well i didnt pirate this game since i own it just cant find the thing. as i recall even when i first got it the thing didnt want to run correctly on my pc way back then lol and it still manages to give me problems. hmm i wonder is there a way to get the normal version out of the Ultima version or maybe get the Ultima out of the normal lol help me out. Help Me Help You! thanks
Are you completely sure? Because im noticing a few odd things that i haven't noticed before, for example when you fight rufus every time i do anything to him, like 3/4 of the time hed tilt his head back and say "HEH HEH HEH"
Quote from: BordeNo, if it says wrong file size it means that your friend isn't using a clean 1.02 US executable. If you want to use some other patch, you must allways begin aplying this one.
Well... am I'm blind, or doesn't this stand anywhere. So, for the High Res Patch... you need the US-Version of FF VII/PC and the 1.02 Patch US ? =(
This kinda sucks, because... up here almost everyone has the german version of the game.
Is there any way to get the High Res Patch working with the german version ?
And if not: SaiNt, would it be hard to make this possible ?
No support for the Ultima Edition.
and from 486 you had the FPU, which was an optional external chip on 8086-80386.

LOL that's just hiliarious to watch. After playing the game
FFX DS is next likely (though compressing all that speach might be a challenge)

Much of my work is somewhat known.
I rewrote most of the Final Fantasy VII engine to use the game’s native files (original game must be installed for mine to work) in C++ and ASM.
By rewriting the entire engine I have complete control.
I added high resolution for all modern computers, 16× Anti-Aliasing, etc., for DirectX 9.0c.
It is however incomplete and non-distributable.
Some screens and information can be found in this or this topic.
My program is entirely external and is its own .EXE. It just knows how to load the files from Final Fantasy VII.
But there are certain things that are incomplete, since even we of this site have not finished hacking them yet.
Field files, for one.
The 3-D overworld for another.
