Ha athleticbear, you beat me to it. I was going to say that its funny that a newbie would have that much competence and confidence in posting on a new site. But that would have made me fall to the troll, and the flame-war would have probably started. So I apologize for my moment of weakness. And Sephiroth is probably one of the greatest villains of all time, up there with Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and David Lo Pan.

Well I think it's a very ambtitious idea. But - I disagree with you on your battle idea. For me, this point is probably nothing more than personal preference, but I want to give you my opinion anyway. Making it the way you're describing is almost exactly the same as FF12, as sl indicated. Most people didn't like it. I would never paly the original game in a such a style, because I'm all about originality and not fixing something that isn't broke. For instance, I was a huge antagonist to seif in the Translation project, and was part of the debaucle that took place here. But that's not the point. If you're appealing to true fans, I don't think they would wanna see a different style of fighting, because that starts to change what they loved about the game in the first place. So in my opinion, leave it turn based, it will still look bad ass, and you won't be changing it from an RPG to an FPS. My two cents, and like a said - probably just personal preference.

If I remember correctly I always interpreted it as a double agent kind of thing. Like the cop/soldier is secretly in cahoots with AVALANCHE in some way shape or form. But I kow this is most likely wrong, it is probably a dialogue error.

Well at least nobody is picking on Bush. I'm hardcore conservative, so its hard for me to talk about politics because I get in silly stupid arguements. Ah nothing against Mako, I was more talking about Qhimm and the problem causers. I thought it was bullshit to see Seifer walking around like hot shit. The best way I can describe it to you is like seeing a known rapist get away with a crime, and then walk around the victims family members and them not being able to do anything about it. To answer the post about why the old members aren't here in another thread, it is because this forum has corrupt members who try to make everyone happy and give in to trolls and the like. I have been a member here for over a year and a half, and having been what I've been through, It's like seeing a rapist getting away with his crime. Fucking liberal assholes.
