Odd, the first time I got this working it was with the ULTIMA edition. I had it working for a while until I formatted. Since then I have not been able to use the ULTIMA edition but the 2.2gb version worked like a charm. NO MORE ERRORS! ONLY GOODNESS!!!! :)

2
Worked with other version before but let me try 2.2gb version.

3
Hey guys, hoping to get some help with this, sorry. :)

4
Dammit!!!!!!!!!

So I did a full clean install, successfully patched with BFE. When I open bootloader I get this when I try to do anything:

My settings don't save and I can't launch the game.

5
Hmm ic, the install directory that BFE sees didn't change to my new install dir automatically like i thought it would. I changed it and am patching now.

6
I had it working fine b4 i formatted, now i uno wtf :(

Clean install, set bootleg to admin, set BFE to admin, run BFE, run bootleg, get error msg:

"run bootleg.exe as admin
for help use the command line switch-- bootleg /?
press any key to continue"

and it exists me.

i am so lost now :(

7
Paths are the same :( I'll try it from scratch again- maybe I missed something.

8
Nah,

I backed up my FF7 install folder, formatted, and now it doesnt work :(

I installed ff7 again, then copied my backup folder overtop, still nothing. :(

9

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

How do I play in windowed mode? Un-checking fullscreen from the FF7 BootLoader.exe doesn't seem to do anything. hmm

I downloaded all of the mods thus far besides one. It looks like the mod MO.exe which (Completely new interface and retranslation) happens in. The download looks like it got 404'ed on google docs. If anyone has this please share.

On an unrelated note when I was opening my game before I downloaded any mobs I ran into an error message at the load in screen. The whole screen was white with black outlines of the game. I'm running 64-bit windows 7 with GeForce 560ti graphics card could it be too powerful for the game? If so what should I do or will it fix its when I run Bootleg on it.

Thank you!

Find mo.exe here: http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=12503.msg173800

Also, when you run bootleg you will be running various patches that will make it work. FF7 on it's own does not work and requires some updates as it is. :)

Hey guys, great stuff here.

I'm having an issue- game won't start. I've followed all the steps, got my mods working, ran bootleg successfully. I have my cd in the drive but it's asking me for "disk 1, 2, or 3." I have my config directed to my dvd drive and no luck.

Any thoughts?

[EDIT]

I installed with the Ultima 2 disk edition. I have the 2.20GB version as well. I tried mounting the disks from the 2.20GB version and disk 2 worked! AWESOME!!!

NEW PROBLEM:

How do I play in windowed mode? Un-checking fullscreen from the FF7 BootLoader.exe doesn't seem to do anything. hmm
