EDIT: I just slapped myself. I don't understand if either through exhaustion or just being high I saw a dog instead of a pony/donkey/horse sleeping in that bed with that one guy o.O? I take back the cute comment lol.

You probably have a dummy item. <I had forgotten about this. Sephiroth and Young Cloud can actually equip some of these without any codes turned on. Neat huh

In the non-modified game, I usually saw this happen when trying to get Sephiroth to use 4x cut on the enemes. He would sometimes not pop back to his battle position and just stay in a random spot inbetween characters and enemies or behind enemies.

So you want a drain spell, that costs 0mp, but that damages the caster instead of healing? I think its very doable

How about making it so that each weapon/armour has a specific set of materia. Then just lock the materia menu so that you can only see it and not change it. I'll try to look into the assembly/coding for Full Cure/Ultima/Shield over the weekend. Like you can have each materia in each slot have a preset amount of ap needed to have attained before you can activate the materia. It would be cool though that when you do master the materia, you could keep the abilities you mastered and if another weapon has that ability it would be active also.

Or do a character replacement code and change the value to 0B. That should put the chocobo avatar in whichever slot you modified.

Chrono Trigger and FF VI allready have some epic hacks. One FFVI hack that has kept me going back is FFVI : Last Hope. Check it out.

Haha Geno!!! His special attack should be geno whirl, that thing if timed correctly can do massive dmg! I loved SMRPG as a kid. The man at the pawn shop didn't want to sell it to me cuz he thought it would be a waste (I was 7 at the time but I read at a 5th grade lvl and apparently is enough to finish the game lol). My dad bought that game and gave him the finger on our way out lol. Then I showed my friends and relatives and we all played SMRPG. It was so cool when we found Culex (as I hadn't gotten to him on my first try). It would be cool to make cloud and the crew go into a defensive position when hit by him too lol.

The FF5 editing tool is nice, but it doesn't edit the properties of the armour/weapon/accessories. That's really all I want to edit. Being Immune to Death apparently doesn't save you from Condemn :/.
