Dude, he posted it here after being told not to post it where he did before.

You tested your hardware? That means unplugging any and all controllers and restarting your computer and trying again?

1. He told me to post is here.  I just forgot to delete it... It'll be gone by the time you read this.
2. yes, I tested all my hardware.

I'm having a weird problem with my controls.  For some reason, the game thinks I'm holding down "right" when I'm not touching a thing.  I've tested all my hardware to see if it was the problem.  Obviously, not the case.  I've tried both the original config, and the newer one.  I also have both patches installed.  Below is a verbatim copy of my input file (original config) if it helps.

Is there any kind of patch to fix the problem with chocobo world?  It appears to take up a lot of RAM or somthing.  It decreases the speed of everything else by a huge factor! :o

I'd like to download some of the FF8 MIDI so I can listen the MIDI files outside the game, but I'm worried about the memory leak.  So there are a few questions about it.

First of all, how serious is it?

And second of all, will whatever leaked out come back at some point?

Okay, I recently got the PC version of FF8.  So far it's flawless except for the world map.  There are NO TEXTURES on the world map.  WHY IS THIS? :-?  :(
