I am using bought my computer from VVTV which is now NBC shopping network! I bought my computer in 1999 and its has Intel 810 chop set! They make the computer and send it to you! They leave so much room for expanding or up grading and they give you the book and cd for the motherboard! Its runs with Windows ME installed and its only a old 100PC not 133PC that most have now days but I can upgrade mine to 133! Its and old 800Mhz had a Radeon 9250 video card put in for better grahpics in game playing and it is great! I did put FF_102 in my FF7 folder in programs along with River Turnerv2.0 RC 15.4 also got the Trainer for Nvida Patch only made by Vishnu so that I can save anywhere in the game! I am playing the FF7 pc version from start to end with no crashes!
I can play any new game or old no problems! I don't know much about computers just keep learning as I go!

Hi! I found found a way to solve the save problem I have with FF7! You can use the Crtl key and Q key anytime in FF7 but I want to change or add so that you go to the save screen instead of the quit screen! When I did the downloading of all the movies to my hd that took care of the game crashes that I had at comso canyon and the game for pc has been great until then and great since then til the end of Cloud's mind where he remembers killing Sephiroth! Then as the scene changes it won't go any futher no matter what path or edit of anybodies will help me go beyond this part! I just want cloud back to race chocobos! I don't have enough computer knowledge to do this! The install Cd is protected and I can't make any changes for editing and adding any cheats! Is anybody able to help with this!

No matter what id do after Cloud remembers killing Sephrioth the pc game crashes to desk top USER.EXE error I had this problem before but once I down loaded the movies to hd I played the game fine the only other crash was at Cosmo Canyon but that was all til this point!

Troubleshooting / Crash FF7 Cloud's Mind?

I haven't had any problems after I downloaded all the movies from FF7 cd's to hd! I was really having fun playing the game! Until Cloud's mind after ne remembers killing Sephiroth! The game crashes to that old error USER.EXE problem! I don't know enough to fix the problem my self! I just wanted to get cloud back to I could try to breed the great Chocbo! If anybody can help me through this it would be great! I can send you my saved game! Thanks! Wish I was a computer geek and could figure it out on my own! Have a great day !

I don't have anything running but explorer and I haven't had any crashes since I but the movies on hard drive! My computer crashes to desktop saying ff7 has created and user.exe problem! something to do with memory! I have the new upgrade ! I am a beginer and I love the game and like playing now that I am older too! What bothers me is finding some one with computer knowledge about FF7 problems than helping us that don't! and just want to play the game! My resouces or memory when playing that long and no save just want to know how to correct it!  Its only after Cloud kills Sephiroth and starts to change scenes that it crashes!

Got past that now! I just changed the video on my monitor and on the FF7 config never installed any patches this time I have a Windows Me with Intell PIII 800 with new Radoen 9250 video card!

I got past the first crsh just by going to FF 7 Config changing the grapic's view and then no problem!

Eidos support said that the company could't fix it thats why they stop support with it six years ago! I have no other problems with the game plays as good as when I had the PS! I now have FF 8! Have you guys come up with a fix that a computer beginer can run! I have tried all the patches and other downloads! Help! Thanks!

I was told by Eidos Support that this is why the company stop support for FF7 six years ago cause they could'nt fix the crash! Did some one else? I have use all the downloads no go! Or can I just skip this!

I just installed the game to pc with out changing anything and the game play great only crashes when I am playing for a time with user.exe errors! No graphic problems no ther problems of any kind! But Windows me and 128 bit Radeon 9250 even using my old Intel 810 Graphic's with only 3mb Direct X memory no problems of any kind other than that darn user.exe crash after a time!

Hi! Can some one help with this! I have all of Ficedula's FF7 saved in my FF7 folder! Which is the Windows Patch! I crash every time after I beat the Ghost Warrior in the sealed cave and after Bugenhagen talks to Red XIII and they see Seto and then Red XIII howls at his father then the game crashes and I get user.exe  error prolems! Only after I play the game for a time! Is it a time thing! I had no problems other wise playing! I save the game alot ! I just put in 128 Radeon 9250 graphic card so that my memory for direct X is 128 not 3! I not had any other problems with the game! Any help would be great! Thanks!
