A few days ago the Bavarian goverment introduced a law in the Bundesrat (a lower house of the federal government) to forbad every "violent game", may it be real or virtual.

Which means: Good Bye Paintball, Good Bye Snowball-Shooting, Good Bye Dodgeball.

Plus they want legal safety to use trojans for pc-inspections. Nice, huh?

Isn't SGT basically a MIDI just with the difference that it loops a certain SeGmenT ;) infinitely?

DLS is used by DirectX Midi Synth, SF2 was initially developed for Live! soundcards.

You should get a gamepad. The game isn't right without one. Don't get the Logitech Dual Action either. It sucks.

It doesnt suck its just an OKAY Game pad...I use it

The gamepad itself is good, it's just the d-pad which sucks. And it really puts the word "sucks" to a whole new level. When you press "UP", it changes the directions for at least thee times (just try it with the config-tool, pretty nasty).

I doubt that you have the distribution rights for both the FF7 Opening nor the "Advent Children" orchestra piece.  :-?

Now guess what the admins will tell you to do...

They can be if they override some security measure, thanks to the DMCA.

But DMCA is not US only ?

Thank God it is US-only. For now.

You're funny, really, maybe because that you're from Japan ;)
But let's get back to the topic.

FF7, great PC/PS game, which was HIT all over the world in 1997/1998. After a few years, SquareEnix noticed that this game is a clue to make really good money, so they are making a compilations for EVERY console, mobile phone, PC and etc.

Man, don't tell me it doesn't stinks?Using so good title to make so many similar games, movies is really terrible. FF7:AC is acceptable, but Crisis Core, Dirge od Ceberus, Before Crisis and now Last Order?

No, it doesn't stink. It is their right to do so, and the reaction from the gaming community is interpreted right by me, then they will make LOADS of $$$ with the products. And, if you didn't noticed this by now, your opinions is to SE what a dropped bag of rice in china is for me: completely unimportant and not of any interest. Buy it or not.

Don't make me laugh, they made a funny business from our game (FF7) and only a real fan can understand it.

OUR game? Oh my god, now you really gotta wake up from the "SE is our friend"-dream of yours. Ah well...

God, m4v3r, you're my hero. My true and only and very hero.
Elbart_: Just fixed my problem. I think this reply explains how. Thanks!

I just said this because of completing the general collection of available FF tools. The more the better.

I'm posting this here because I'm having trouble trying to compress files using scene_create.exe, a program which has been posted here some time ago ... the original post with the file is here:

The server for this file is unfortunately down. :(

Could you mirror it on some file-storages, like http://www.megaupload.com or so? That would be great! :D

Thanks for posting part of your work but... It's just me or the file is not accesible?

Because it is a network-adress (192.168.* and 10.* are therefore not routable).

Well, everybody needs to learn. :D
