7th Heaven / Some NPCs look warped
« on: 2019-01-08 01:17:39 »
Got the itch to play through this game again for the first time in years, but I'm having a slight issue. Several NPCs, but not all, have strangely warped bodies and large gaps where joints would be. Is this normal with the Kaldarasha option for the NPC Field Model mod, or is this caused by a conflict between different mods? Here's a screenshot of Cowgirl Tifa, which is one of the most severely impacted models, as well as my mod list from 7H:

I don't mean to be a pest or anything, but any ideas on how I can fix my invisible Red XIII problem?  Running 039

Hey, another quick question.  I just got to the point in the game where Red XIII joins your party and I have a slight problem, he has no character model.  When he jumps on Hojo it looks like Hojo was attacked by the invisible man, lol.  Is there any way to fix this?  I selected the retextured Red XIII option when I ran bootleg.

Still having the FMV issue but not gonna worry about it, as old as this game is some audio issues in FMVs are easy to ignore.

ran fine in media player, perfect sound, no disks that I can check though cause I'm using the 2012 download version converted to 1998.

Well, my desktop crapped out awhile ago and I'm still working on getting the funds together to replace the parts that went bad, so atm I'm using an acer laptop with integrated graphics, vista, 2 gigs of RAM, not at the computer atm so can't give more detailed specs but if you need them I can post after feeding my son, the videos themselves run smoothly its just the audio that acts up

I love the bootleg app, made re-modding my FF7 files so much easier!  One quick question though, I'm having some trouble with the FMVs.  I believe the option I selected was bootleg + Grimmy or something like that, and all my FMVs have audio problems.  The background music continues to play, but FMV specific music and sound effects either don't play or, when they do, are way out of sync with the videos themselves.  What can I do to fix this?  An example of an audio sync problem is the intro FMV, the instrumental beat that normally plays when the FF7 logo appears plays while cloud is shown ontop of the train, and his line "my name is cloud.  Soldier 1st class." Plays 5 - 10 seconds after the text appears on-screen, then partially plays again at the end of the video.

Support / Re: question about available mods

You can make one of these pretty easily using WallMarket (look in Tools). Just set all the model IDs of all the weapons to 0.

Thanks, I'll check it out when I get home from work.  Is changing the weapons names just as easy?  Cause some weapons would be a bit confusing with starter wep models, ie Cloud's baseball bat weapon as buster sword, lol.

Support / question about available mods
« on: 2012-11-18 16:22:55 »
I was wondering, are there any mods out there that set all weapons to use the model and textures of the characters starting weapons?  There are a lot of great weapons out there, but for most characters I prefer the (heavily modded of course) originals, like the buster sword, gatling gun, etc.  If not, are there any weapon packs available for barret?  I used bootleg and the barret model I chose has an amazing gatling gun model, but all his other weapons still use the ugly vanilla models.  I know there's an AC gun model somewhere but I don't want that, as much as I love AC the only thing I'd be interested in having from it is Yuffie's new outfit.

Also, this is an unrelated question but the new FMVs I'm using have some audio problems, the background music keeps playing but the FMV music and sound effects either don't play or, when they do, are way out of sync with the video.  Is there anything I can do to fix that?  I believe the FMV option I chose was bootleg +grimmy or something like that.  Thanks!
