Okay. That'd open up a lot of opritunities if would could do new models. Also, during the Temple of the Ancients sequences, Sephiroth's cape clips through him a LOT.

I also suggest the FFVII Reunion patch, which is in the 'Battle Model > Field Model Conversion' thread, last page.

I'm guessing through using this, we'll be able to make new models from scratch to replace the old ones? Or does Square/Eidos(who controlled the formats?) use a weird file format for models, that we can't use.

Looks really nice. I'm in the Temple of the Ancients, and the models seem to hang over edges in the paths a lot though.

Yeah, what I heard from someone who got it on another forum, it was just a patched version with a couple of little icons of character heads. I believe it was just the chocobo patch.

Just thought of this. Could it be a driver problem? You can get new drivers from www.ati.com or www.nvidia.com depending on what graphics card you have or for more advanced users www.omegadrivers.net.

Try a reinstall. Are there different patches for different language versions? If so, did you get the right language?

Wait for longer than 20 minutes. These people have lives off the Internet. It's like that even on huge forums, but it takes longer here due to this forums small size.

Yep, it's 1024. Windows displays it as 3361 KBs and as 3.28 MBs and 3361/1024 = 3.2822265625. So it looks like:

A) Uninstalling the patch replaces GM.DLS, which it would keep in the 'Backup' folder

or

B) For some reason, my GM.DLS stayed the same

13
I just ran the uninstall for the XP Patch, and gm.dls is at 3,361 KB/3.361MB(Sligtly less, I just can't remember how many KBs to 1MB. Is it 1024, or is that just MBs to 1GB?). That's what it's supposed to be, right?

Thanks. I didn't think of the registry. It works now.

I recently added another Hard Drive, so I switched some volume labels giving the second Hard Drive D: and E:, and moving my CD and DVD Drives to F: and G:. I went to play VII and to my suprise, I got an error message saying "Please insert FF7 Game Disc 1, 2, or 3". I've tried in both the CD(48x24x48x) and DVD(12x) and neither has worked. The disc (Disc 2/Game Disc 1, Eidos Platinum Edition) is not scratched. Is there a patch to fix this or a file I can edit? I have the FFVII XP patch from AnimeVamp, and the patch that came with the game and that's it. I noticed you guys recommended NOT using iXP patch, so is there a way to uninstall that? I'm assuming this is the problem because the Drive Labels is the only Hardware change since the last time I played.

Thanks in advance, and sorry if this causes anyone trouble or has been answered before.
