The E3 preview of final fantasy VII was bullshit, you heard that its just a teaser of what the ps3 can do, and they don't even have word on a remake for the game. Thats a terrible teaser and a letdown to most fans of final fantasy VII, thats shameful and SquareEnix and Sony better make this game and not just keep saying this what ps3 can do. Are they dumb? Do they realize that if they made a ff7 remake for the ps3, that they could triple what they make if not more from selling copies of the newer version. errrrrrr

Who else is mad about this?

Or, they can lie and say someone hacked there pc and stole all there stuff and etc... And released it... Theres many ways. Or be descrete about it and upload it to a torrent or emule or some kind of shared program and make some bs about it and say that it got accidently uploaded. Many ways. Use the knowledge of the force.  :o

Reunion, what tools did you use to make these characters? Are they simple tools? Or I would have a hard time using these tools. Because I feel like I want to mod final fantasy 7 now. I want to make the characters how I want them to look. Sorry, if this is kind of off topic. LoL

Can you make a resolution patch for weaker computers if thats not too hard? If it's too hard then don't because I know my computer is old and most people on this forum probably aren't on a computer back from 1998-1999 era.

My pc can play resolutions at 1024 by 768 pixels/800 by 600 pixels yet my desktop can go as high as 1280 by 1024 but I can't play pc games at that resolution.

My video card Nvidia Vanta
Mhz- My mhz seems to change every so often for some reason. It stays at 554mhz but I check my stats every so often and it can hit 555mhz sometimes.

And the other computer i have is 900mhz but its graphic card is worse then nvidia vanta... Other pc is a compaq.  :erm:


If this is 2 much trouble, then just ignore my post. But if its not hard and you have some spare time, thnx alot. LoL

It's easy to do. It's called use your brain... You don't have to be 18 almost turning 19 to use your brain. ;)

Btw, I hope that you guys finish the patch sooner or later. Biggs and Wedge and some other characters look goofy when cloud and barret are updated but not all the characters. Do you guys plan on updating all of the final fantasy  7 characters even the unknown ones. That would be cool if you did... Before I tried this mod out, I was expecting it to be something terrible, because I am very weird and like the original blocky characters. But I was wrong this mod is really cool.  :o

I don't support evil organizations. You all support shinra, and shinra is not good. Shinra is alot like SquareEnix/Riaa/and anything else that only cares about money. Evil they are. They must be destroyed, besides SquareEnix hasn't made any good rpgs in my personal opinion. The true Squaresoft died after Final Fantasy 7 and possibly 8, I haven't played much of 8 though.

Edit: I think we should close this topic. Do I have powers to close it? Or do I need an admin to do it. Cause its just going to be a bs topic, of us communicating our opinions. I didn't want it to go this far. I just don't want to get banned from this forum because I may say something upsetting or something bad. Cause I think this forum is cool and has all the stuff I dreamed about.

Boycott SquareEnix, they are assholes. People aren't even selling there games, they are only fanmade games and they even give credit to squareenix for creating the characters,storyline... SquareEnix is filled with assholes, and I hope they all rot in greedy hell. YOU hear me SQUAREENIX? I would punch everysingle one of you scrawny bastards in the face if you came to my country or state. Bastards. SquareEnix is worse then the Riaa, atleast the Riaa is just fighting to make money... It's not like people who make fanbased games are stealing if they give credit where credit is do. But obviously are country called America enjoys fucked up laws.

Make it possible...

If we all put a little work into this project, everyone on this forum gives a little or bigger helping hand. Then we can create FINAL FANTASY VII 2D remake. I'm not sure if I am the only fan that wants a Final Fantasy VII 2D remake but if I am not then this would be great to remake it in 2d in my opinion. I'm not sure what 2d engine we should use though, RPG Maker 2000- And Rpg Maker 2003 always looked like a sloppy 2d engine. Btw, if I am wrong then lets just see, anyone else had this idea? Lets make it happen if we can.

And if anyone is afraid of getting sued be square-enix/squaresoft, then we will put a intro or addy or something that says don't sue us squaresoft we give you the credit of making these awesome characters etc btw, we just wanted to make a game for the fans and if you sue us then you'd get no money anyways because none of us are rich, so it's pointless. blah blah blah...
I personally don't think squaresoft and square-enix will give a shit, because why sue the fans? Were the people who put money in there damn pockets for christ sakes.  :lol:

Someone should remap final fantasy VII, if they have the spare time to do it. What I mean about remap is that you can make the 2d backrounds more 3d or something if thats possible. Btw, I don't have the time for this or the intelligence to edit final fantasy vii pc. Sorry... I just have suggestions.  :D

It doesn't work with this os and I found a way to get it to work with windows 2000, but then I can't use my dual controller at all ;(

Good luck with that Elentor, btw I hope you really do remake the full game because I have a feeling squaresoft won't touch final fantasy VII(original one not the sequel and etc). So that would be good if you could remake the game and find voice actors for the parts. You and your buddies are good at making 3d effects, I can tell from your work. So put that work to good use and make the best game you can ever have to work on. Make final fantasy VII shine in the spotlight again, where it belongs.  :love:

And I don't believe Squaresoft can sue you for making a game using there characters, unless you plan on selling it. But if you distribute it for free, then they can't really do anything I believe, and if I am wrong then this is a very sad world we live in today, that companies would sue over jealousy because they couldn't make things as good as its fans.  :lol:
