Whats all this crap I was hearing about people playing final fantasy 7 on windows xp? Is that bullshit or something?

It won't play any of the movie files, I did install the movie player that plays final fantasy 7 movies and it doesn't do any thing. I just get a black screen when I start up final fantasy 7 and when I press enter it goes to the start screen, but it won't let me play any of the movies. My copy of final fantasy 7 is legit before anyone ask me this question, so can someone please help me out. Thanks
Computer Specs:
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor
3500+ 2.19ghz, it says I only have 896mb or ram but my computer is suppose to have atleast 1 gig of ram... Did someone rip me off? wtf??
And my graphics card is ATI RADEON Xpress 200 Series
I tried windows xp patch, didn't do anything at all. What a waste of a patch. And someone told me to try the upsidedown patch and that didn't do anything, the screen is still black.

Support Ati cards good? I just bought a amd 54 3500+ processor that has an ati raedon 200 express card in it. How well will it run final fantasy VII pc, I have never used an ati card... So, I don't know if this game only supports tnt/nvidia card. What this means is will I be able to play the high resolution patch with ati cards or is it only for tnt/nvidia cards?

Can anyone teach me how to make sephiroth look like that in the final battle? I think he looks bad ass in the final battle, is there anyway to patch it to make him look like this? Cause he looks built in the final battle against cloud.
I wasn't being rude about that thing, I mean if I personally spent so much time into a project like ff7 or anything, I would back it up. And a 100 pack of cdr's only cost 10-15 dollars depending where you purchase them from.

The guy who made that sephiroth patch is he on this board? I liked that patch but it wasn't 100 percent complete. Btw, I need to download that patch again, because I can't find it on the web anyone have a link to it? Sephiroth is bad ass, I wish this patch will be complete one day or someone else take over if its not.

And I am at level 99 and I have knightoftheround table maxed out and phoenix 4 star maxed out and still I can't beat the weapon. I don't get it, this makes no sense to me why this boss is like unbeatable. I even have clouds ulitmate weapon or something... I don't get it!!!

I've played with the best nvidia card and played with the best Ati cad, I personally liked Nvidia alot more. It's more by choice, some people like them for different reasons, I personally think Nvidia has better graphics and you can edit more Nvidia cards pushing its limits then you can on most ati cards.

and sephiroth were in that game. That game was crap in my opinion and it didn't deserve to have the best two characters out of almost every game in it. Anyone else agree? And cloud strife was voiced by a backstreetboy singer i think, which makes it even worse.

This patch needs an update, whenever you get the chance. The feet are still screwed up at parts, and I hope this patch does every character in the final fantasy VII world, because it looks weird when your character models are like the only models that are improved.

Man I used the cheat edit for final fantasy VII, and I still can't even beat any of the weapons and I have all the best summons.... I don't get it? I didn't apply this patch to it, but it just gets me upset. Any advice? I'm even at level 99 and still can't handle them. hp is 9999
