Uh, dude?  Did you NOT read the first post?  He wants everyone DLing from here, so he can keep download stats.  Goofball =P  Though keeping a private mirror in case something happens is probably a good idea.
Well, that's what I was figuring. In case something happens, it would also be there as well.

The "messy" screen you are talking about:
Mine does that too, but everything else works fine.
You may want to try messing around with the settings of your Video card.. that's the only thing I can think of..

I never said it did. All I did was link him to the thread that says we don't support downloaded copies.

Ah, but I see you've ALREADY used their work and posted it on a popular torrent site along with a no-cd crack.

I dont know if creator of FF7 Multi Patch 1.1.1 - Cyrus XIII ask to using thier work...
NOCD patch is for legal use - creating backup DVD, as in thread in this forum.
hmm...., any modyfication to game exe is illegal anyway
No, what you did is illegal. By using the NoCD CRACK (it is NOT a patch) you are cracking the code of the exe that checks for the cd. Everything that SaiNt and Reunion and Borde and all the others do is just a MOD to better gameplay.

You could always try setting win95 compatible... see if that has any effect...

I actually kinda liked the game. Although, I don't remember Tifa or Vincent being in it.. I definately remember Cloud, Zack, and Seph.

Because djzerious said it works for him on 4x. But im trying to say that either way i set it up.Using direct 3d or just using software it jumps exactly the same way.I would notice it if it had to do with my anitialising.
Are you sure about that? Cuz, my game (using Direct3D, with AA set to "determined by application" doesn't jump. Nor does it jump when it is set to D3D, 4x AA. But at D3D 2x2AA and 8x AA, it jumps.

And, furthermore:
I said that I have the same exact card as you.. I said nothing about power. And I said that MY game is jumpy when I have AA set to anything higher than 4x (and being as how you have the same video card as me, I would think that the issue would be the same..), all I said was that you should try it on 4x AA or leave the AA alone, and it won't jump.

And just because you have a powerful machine, that doesn't mean that you can run any game. Power doesn't always equal quality. And by having that video card, even with your 2.x Ghz cpu, you aren't going to be able to run every game.

Just for the sake of asking for and getting advice, just try what I said. Try leaving the AA alone.. leave it at the "determined by application" setting, and see if that doesn't fix the problem you are talking about. Then if you want, work your way up from there, to a setting that doesn't jump.

Oh djzerious, there are mini-images arround the net that fool the game's protection :-P So you can still use The Saint's patch even with a downloaded copy.

Ah.. I see. Well.. that changes things.

Hey Hey Hey, cut me some slack here! :weep:
I had the game before... a rather long time ago, and the game is gone!
No shop - or webshop - that ships to my place has it anymore! (not that I know of anyway)

How the hell am I gonna get it other than downloading it?  :z

Im open for suggestions.

*Edit* Um, I say, I didnt download it, I got it from a friend? >.<
Oh come on!
Everyone's downloaded it!  Im the only one saying I was! -__-

No, I'm pretty sure a lot of people here are using original copies, especially since a certain patch only works if it can run a cd check..

And, eBay has it. Amazon has it. I'm sure I could find some more if you want me to.

And, if you had the game before, you could have made a digital backup of it, and you wouldn't have this problem... that's what I do with all of my games. I either copy them to a disk or to my HDD so that I can store my originals so they don't get scratched.

Yeah.. try going into Device Manager... and uninstall the game controller device, unless you can do it through the game controllers in Control Panel..

So, you have 8-bit textures enabled and you AREN'T getting gridlines...?

Either way though, I have a FX 5200 as well, and the highest AA I got to work without jumping is 4x. But, I didn't notice much of a difference between things, so I just left it so that the application decides what to use..

Try doing that.. should work.

I`m getting a crash with this patch once I leave the train after the first bombing and try to enter the next sceen to the left. I get the error message "fail to load DAAD.tor". I replaced char.lgp with my original one and it works. If I save at the save point in that area I will get the same error if I try to use the altered char.lgp again. Up until this point it all worked very well. Any solutions?

Great work BTW!

WaaaaH!
Im getting the same shYt3!!  O.O
Once I get off the train after blowing up the Sector 1. reactor I get a error message about the DAAD.tor file =_=
