Hey ppl, i have a really big prob.Simply, when i run the game it crashes.I dont know if this is normal, but is the cd2 of the game.I completed cd1, saved, and then i closed the game.Then i inserted the cd2, run the game, and it crashes..can u hel me?

did u save ur game properly?? u're supposed to remove/insert cds only when it tells u to do so...

ff7 crashes when u load ur particular save game or when the program loads?

btw... the slot 1/2 thingy... its for ff8 man...

ff7 is simply save files in the save folder...

its quite random throught the long cutscene after the 2headed dragon when u enter the crater....

sometimes during the cutscene it crashes... sometimes after the video..

hmm... no alternative workaround??

my problem is that it crashes after the highwind video after the 2 headed dragon.... quite some few mins after it... is this the same problem??

ff7 ver 1.02???

is this the same as the 1 in edios's support forum "riva tnt patch"

Also... theres soo many patches around... so i only need to patch to ver 1.02 and chocobo patch thats it??

Also... after i patched the game to "ver 1.02".. when the game loads.. the squaresoft movie does not play... a blank screen simply stays.. until i press enter or space... then the "new game, continue?" screen comes on.. is that normal???  :isee:

2. System Memory: 512 MB
3. Is Direct3D mode playable on your computer? Yes, but i use software
4. Optical Drive which you use to play FF7: MSI 16x DVD ROM, but, i'm using a virtual image coz i dont wanna spoil my disks, GameDrive 9.03
5a. Did you use original disk when installing FF7? YES
5b. Are you using original disks when playing? YES* see above
5c. How did you make your copy? Virtual image
6. Which crashes are you experiencing? random crashes

Additional:
Motherboard: ABit NF7-S, Driver: Nvidia nForce 5.10
Graphics Card: Leadtek GF6200 128MB, Driver Nvidia 78.01
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster Live DE5.1, Driver: Creative 5.12

I'm currently using Leadtek Geforce 6200 128MB..

Anyone tried the lasted nvidia drivers?? They just released version 78.01

My game keeps crashing randomly... every now and then.. maybe its becase i have windows media player in the background?? hehe    

Gonna try the drivers and update u guys...
