You're so totally psychic and can predict the specs he's gonna post.

Update the graphics card, and get SP2.  Then try again =P  My system specs are almost identical to yours except from those differences.

You mean after the 16:9 one?  -_-  It's a pain doing it over again cause it might crash again, and it takes forever.

After beating the final sephiroth at the end of disc 3 in FF7, and going throught the credits, what happens.  I left my computer on because I had to go to dinner, and I have no idea what happened because my computer semi-crahed lol.  Is it worth beating Sephiroth again?

Well, now I'm running it under the "Windows 98 / Windows Me", now I just hope that it won't random battle crash >.<

9
Doesn't PAYPAL back up stuff, and if it doesn't work can't you contact the seller.

Which OS is FFVII most compatible with?  Specs:

CPU : AMD Athlon 1800+ (OC'd to 2000+) ~1.7 GHz
GPU : NVidia GeForce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X
RAM : 512MB RAM
OS : Windows XP SP2
PATCHES : FF7Music, FFVII 1.4, Minigame Patch (dzuigo), High-Res

11
Could you elaborate on how to turn on the "compatibility mode" in WinXP.  I have random battle crashes too.

It's "Apocalypse"

How do you hook up the controllers to PC :) , well I assume you need a USB adapter, but if I wanted to use my GC controllers how would I do it :)

14
Here's what I have installed :)

FFVII 1.02 Patch
The Saint's High-Res Patch
FF7Music
Dzuigo's Minigame Patch

15
No, the patch is meant to run the game at that screen resolution.  If your moniter isnt that big it will have a black bar so it can run at that resolution.  And BTW is any progress being made on the 1600x1200 version?

Nope, those are all of the patches that have been installed.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, I read the post, but is that why my game keeps crashing?  Is there any solution to my problem -_-

I've been experiencing the same crash when the swirley battle thing comes.  It freezes up for around 2 seconds, then the music starts playing (the screen stays black), and the FF7.exe has encounteered a problem ... error comes.  I have RivaTuner and it has 8-bit textures enabled.  Here are my specs (I've had it continuing to randomly crash like this since I started):

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (OC'ed to 2000+)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X
RAM: 512mb
MODS: High Res, 1.02, FFVIIXP 1.4, FF7Music, Minigame Patch (dzuigo)

Is it because I have the FFVIIXP 1.4 patch installed?  Or is it something else.
