I am also getting a "" as return for some reason when I took the screen shot of the cmd line it did not show up?...

Ok I tried running the .bat deleted the query for ADMIN rights this is what I get when I run the .bat from CMD. Anyone Know what directory this is looking for Im running Steam so is it looking for the location of the C:/Program Files/Steam/Steam Apps/Common/FFVII directory?

Yes, I also have the presumption that your unpacker not working properly.

FF7_GameConverter_0.11.zip

The query for admin rights located between line 27 and 38 inside the bat.

Thank you so much this forum is one of the best Ive been on no one flamed the topic...Im home with a spinal injury post op so thank you guys for helping...

Just realized my extractor errors out and the .bat ends up there but is 0kb as opposed to 63.8...lol all this time still...But I cant get the .bat to extract if anyone can post the .bat thatd be awesome...I have a feeling that if I can just run that .bat that it would be possible to mod FFVII STEAM under linux..

if you open the bat file (its just text after all) you can see exactly whats happening and possibly convert the script to a sh script.

I've tried opening the .bat file with a few different text editors and it always comes up empty can anyone post the contents of the .bat so I can sh.

I am almost sure, bootleg does not work with Windows 98   :o
My Game Converter I have in this respect not tested, but can not rule out that he would actually run with Win98  :D

I've tried it all the way up to win8 mode I get a red CMD screen saying that I need to run as ADMIN...I just thought win98 may have been new enough to run it without restrictions.

Ultimately copied the GC everything from the folder 'data, lang-en' in the 'data' folder, integrates the 1.02 patch adds a Aali's driver and sets the registry correctly.

when I extract from the exe.exe I just get a .bat and a folder called sprinkles this has a directory in it called ff7_1.02_eng thats as close as I can find under that directory...

Ok Ive gotten the Bootleg to run in both GUI mode and CMD mode using the CMD method:

cd /????/????/Bootleg040
/????/????/Bootleg040>Bootleg.exe    (CMD version)
and
/????/????/Bootleg040>BFE.exe          (GUI version)

Im not sure if the FF7_GameConverter_0.11.bat is doing anything "what does it do when you execute it in a normal windows environment?" I've executed it both from CMD in (win98 mode so as to have no UAC needed) and I've also tried running it from within the Wine version of Task Manager... It upsets me to be able to view the bootleg mod GUI but not be able to apply any of the mods.

Has anyone successfully converted the FF7_GameConverter_0.11.bat to FF7_GameConverter_0.11.exe and (Im not talking about the already existent FF7_GameConverter_0.11.exe.exe) if so please post the link. Also is there a way to Run As Admin under wine without having to sudo wine as its dangerous?

What files does the FF7_GameConverter_0.11.bat change/add and where are they changed/installed?

Thanks
