I cant get this mod to work. im using the latest tifas bootleg to install it. im on the Original PC disks. anyone have any ideas?

im having troubles with the aeris revival patch. ive tried 3 different installs. one with steam and twice with the OG 1998 disks. each time trying different option combinations and i cant get her to come back. im using the latest bootleg 040. twice i played from new game to her death and the third time i started from a save point in the forgotten city before taking nap right before her death (too late maybe?). any help would be appreciated.
