That sounds like your iso is totally broken to me. Get in touch with Kranmer if you can. Or Ilducci.  Those two are the only people I know who have any clue about this stuff.
I didn't do the graphics injection in the ISOs. For PSX, talk to xulikotony or Green_goblin.

Omega tends to mess around with the texture contents (So it'll never be able to do paletized textures unless someone fixes that), but your problem is that you didn't saved the texture as an 8-bit palleted bmp before sending it to Omega. That's what causes the fully black/trasparent texture.

Anyway, here's a way to make a correct duplicate.
 - Export the BMP texture as an 8-bit (256 colors) palletized texture. Make sure you use the original palette (Rip it from an original BMP, exported from TEX via Omega).
 - Save the texture as a new TEX via Image2TEX.exe, not Omega.
 - Use an hexadecimal editor (HxD is freeware, for example) to copy the first 1260 bytes from the original TEX file and overwrite the first 1260 bytes from your edited TEX. Make sure you don't just paste it and make the file larger.
 - Test the texture and the palettes with Omega.

That should do the trick. I personally like to paste stuff with TileMolester, but that's another valid approach, if you know what are you doing with palettes.

Wasn't there a patch for cr.lgp to correct a wrong Credit? The People.bin is only for the names of the credits list, aren't they.
For me are more important to research kage.dat and the extra compressed files for the snowboard minigame.
Names and Ranks for the ending credits. And, guess what, the ranks were translated to EFIGS. And, like the rest of the game, they were translated poorly. That's why this could come in handy, your fix can only apply to the English credits.

This is an interesting breakdown. I don't seem to remember seeing this file in the game's files though (and I'm not home so I can't check); where is that file and do you know what is its purpose?

It's in cr.lgp. Also, the EXE offsets I mentioned are for the Spanish EXEs. The English ones will need retargeting.

I'm kinda surprised I couldn't find someone who had already edited the PEOPLE.BIN file on the PC 1998/2012/Steam version. I had to break the format myself, and I was wondering if anyone already made a tool to edit that or would be willing to do so.

It can't be edited freely though, as the EXE has a timer that switches from this screen to the "Five hundred years later..." one. The timer changes between languages (English PEOPLE.BIN is smaller than Spanish PEOPLE, per example), so the game won't break when you add more or less lines, but the EXE still needs extra touches.

Also, (thanks to Ortew for this finding), the VWF for the PEOPLE font can be found here:

4 bytes per character, measured in bytes, takes font.tex as a reference.

The pound sign and that other (I forget its name).  As you can see, I use 2 lovehearts with Retranslation (to give it some personality).  If you would, use the loveheart glyph from the original font.  Half its size, and place it in roughly the same places as the ones above. The loveheart needs to be in all colours.

Also, maybe let us all know how you do it :)

Green_Goblin... I see you have also edited the font?  Then maybe you can also add the 2 lovehearts as above?

You'll need to edit the character size to 6 on both characters so they fit.

As about the way to do it, I inject the content via TileMolester. For me, it's the only way to keep the font and battle files compatibles with the 98 version. A bit of a pain in the ass, though.

I still need someone to place the love heart back into the original game texture font.  Can anyone here do that for me? I can tell you which entries to edit.
Hi there, newbie on the forums here. What character should I replace with the heart? Do you use the original, unmodified PC font?

I already up-rezzed the musical note and the heart for the Spanish project, so just tell me where to put'em and I'll send you the font.
