No such luck i'm afraid! Yuffie1983 suggested it earlier and didn't work :(

No, you want to avoid moving folders. That has a potential to screw around with your registry keys.

Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders > Add Library Folder > C:\Games\Steam

Now you can click the Install button in your Steam Library and "Choose location for install:" as "Install under C:\Games\Steam" in the drop-down menu.

Still doesn't work, unfortunately :( same error

Try to reinstall to a different directory from within Steam.

C:\Games\... is perfect (it's what I use), but I didn't move the Steam folder there. I install all my games from within Steam to that directory.

Sorry, I suck at computers and stuff. I could move steam back to Program Files, but how would I then install FF7 to the Games directory? Just move the FINAL FANTASY 7 Folder out of SteamApps/common?

No such luck, they were off already.

It's a steam game, i moved the steam folder away from Program Files and Program Files 86, like it said.

C:/Games/Steam/SteamApps/common/FINAL FANTASY VII
