Thrashamatrix: I think I found a new potential host lol for my files ...umm no its world_us.lgp
zero88: that's a good idea indead but ... unforunatly it'd be very complex to do it because we would have to modify the program to do it ... and do a model for each sword .. but that wouldn't be hard to do these models ... but the problem will be how to call them ingame. ..
Oh and for cloud in the world map it's not the same files so it's possible but in the patch it's supose to change this files so cloud is risized and have the sword on his back ... but I think that you had the reunion file so the patcher didn't reconized it and didn't change it ... you got to have the original .lgp file in the ...\final fantasy VII\data\WM and rename to "world_us.lgp" if you don't have the US version
V_mod : I've never tested it in win98 but I think it supose to work .. as Thrashamatrix said LGP tools may seem to freaze but if you let it some times it will be okey
AOD: the error you got is because of the version of the char.lgp ... I think you'd better reinstall the game and backup your original char.lgp file so the next version of the npc all you'll have to do is to extract your original char.lgp in your final fantsy VII\data\field\char and start the patcher
Christian: yes it included the reunion patch.... well modified to be exact but you don't have to install it anymore
hope this will help
Actually it is pretty accurate.
And as I was just discussing with my boss the night before, religion is by far the worst, stupidest thing man-kind has ever invented.
I find it quite amazing that even today, when mankind is more intelligent than it has ever been, so many people still mindlessly follow some religion or another like a bunch of clueless zombies, blindly following the teachings of their parents. No need for proof or substantiation; just allow yourself to be brainwashed and you’ll have bliss from then forth.
We also had a deep discussion regarding those imaginary lines in the dirt.
I questioned whether the lines would ever have been drawn if mankind was as advanced then as we are now.
Long ago, mankind needed explanations for things they didn’t understand.
No congregation of humanity was different at that time; they were all seeking answers, and thus multiple religions were born.
To each group of humans, it seems the only answer for the unexplainable was to create some type of “God†in their own images who was responsible for everything they did not understand.
Thus it is very clear that if we were as advanced then as we are now, religion would never have been invented.
But the lines?
The lines mark more than just personal differences. They mark greed.
Nearly every line people draw in the dirt was originally out of conquest.
Long long ago that was all that was on mankind’s mind.
Nobody stops to consider this.
Nobody stops to consider the idea that mankind had the wrong mindset back when they were drawing all these lines, and that 90% of all these lines need to be redrawn with actual purposes, or just eliminated.
Mankind is suffering today because of the unnatural way lines were drawn long long ago, and now the damage done is too great to reverse.
Because of the way the lines were drawn the first time, people have too much of a hardcoded mindset that that is how it should be and they just take it for granted, assuming the lines are the end-all-be-all definitive measurement of who is who.
Places such as Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Israel, and Niger are now completely lost in this concept.
Many of them are groups of people inside the same borders who drew yet more lines that aren’t on the maps.
It never occurred to them that without the lines and without religion, all those people around them are just…
…people.

Hmm, I think Jari is right it would sound like your fan is screwed, if your harddrive was making that sort of noise then I would think that your PC would switch off while starting up. In any case if your sure its the harddrive get it replaced,
a good tip is that if cant access any files or the harddrive has stopped working, put it in the freezer, turn it back on, and transfer the files. It worked for one of my mates

Im new to this site and im sorry if this topic has been brought up before but is there a program for FF8 that hacks into a save and then you can change the stats of your character, your items and GFs. I had one along time ago and i deleted it on accident. It was called FF8 config. Can someone post a link to download this program if anyone still has it or can make it
Quote from: Sad JariI wonder why eyes appear red in photos, because at least my dog's eyes used to look bright green if you pointed a flashlight at it.
There is a fluid in the dog's eye that helps it adapt to darkness. This gives them a kind of natural night vision. The color can also vary because of breed and age of the dog. Sorry I don't have the exact terms, I know "fluid" doesn't quite answer your questions.I'll dig up the correct terms soon.
Thanks for the explanation.
Anyway, the bre... best desktop ever.
