7th Heaven / GameConverter perma-deletes?

I had a save file that was pretty far but also had an issue that caused me to unpatch and repatch my game and now my save file is lost.
 
I'm trying to recover it but have no idea whether or not GameConverter fully deletes or just throws it somewhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

7th Heaven / Moving downloaded files

So let's say I have a folder for FF7 with 7th Heaven in it. Many files downloaded from 7th Heaven as well.

I want to move those to a new FF7 folder. Would I need to re-download them?

Could I safely transfer the IROs from the 'mods' folder to my new one and it would be okay?

In other words, I failed to transfer a fully cleaned copy of Steam FF7 because it had New Threat applied and I want the files moved to a fresh copy.

Is it possible?
