Not entirely sure if it's what was intended with "Mod request" in mind (I suck at reading intention, sorry!) but would it be possible to use some sort of frame-blending/motion blur shader to replicate the persistence of vision and (Possibly) interlaced (Blended) signal the original game expected?

For example, take how when use an "All" type of magic, you get a pointer finger rapidly flicking between all valid targets. I imagine on a CRT (I've only got a tube telly, no monitor, and unfortunately the game won't run on my Xbox's ps1 emulator to verify this) that it would blend nicely into a transparent icon, which I assume was the intention, is that right? As well, wouldn't it smooth out those jittery 60fps battles? (The whole point of motion blur being to create the sense of motion when there's not enough drawn frames to portray movement.)

As the title says I'm having a weird issue where the game fades to a white screen and crashes when I try to use the enemy skill magic "Beta". Which feels to me like some kind of shader/effect issue but I can't figure it out. So I made an account to ask for help.  :-[

If there's a mod conflict there I'm missing do feel free to point it out to me with a very big stick, I've been known to be dense at times, and I'm not very well versed in assembling a proper load order in this game. (As opposed to ES games, which I've played too much of. ;D )

Oh, and just because I want to be absolutely sure I'm not just being dumb, the save file I've been trying to use, used older versions of Because and different texture mods at one point, but I've never used gameplay altering mods with it in regards to enemy/item/stats changes, only ever subtle tweaks like 60fps battle. IF that's the issue then feel free to point it out to me with some very BIG sticks. <Insert duck emoticon here>

Edit: So I did a bit of swapping up mods, it seems to be caused by the Menu Overhaul 3.0 TEST mod. Not sure if it's something that'd be fixed by starting a new game though.
