Decided to install FF7 again and give this mod pack a try, unfortunately I get the error "FF7.exe: File size is incorrect.  Tried patching FF7 after to 1.04 and still no luck.

EDIT:  Got reunion installed, needed the 1.02 patch.  But now after the New Game or Continue screen it goes black and does nothing.

EDIT2:  Just ignore me I'm an idiot.  Dunno what I did wrong but on  try #4 got it all working.

Looks nice, like the installer options.

Try turning off the 9999+ patch.

Awesome!  I love you.

So the above image is what I get in battle.

I have Aali's driver installed, the TA GUI + Hi Res mod.

I use the bar correction patch, as well as tried the battle interface reconstruction mod.

How do I make it look good, or at least aligned?  is one of these mods conflicting with another?  I read through the wiki and thought I avoided any conflicts.

I was hoping to end up with a nicer version of the original menu with a semi transparent background, though clear, or all solid would be fine with proper alignment.

Turning off Aali's new interface menu makes it black and it still stays misaligned.

Thanks.

Awesome, that worked great, I assumed since the reg file wasn't included that it was no longer needed.

I installed the team avalanche gui and hi res stuff.

Now I have the battle menu being black though, as well as the timer and limit bars and hp bars mis aligned, and "BarCorrectionPatch.exe" did not fix any of these issues.

So what thread am I off to next?  lol

I have run it, as well as everything else as admin.

I now get text in APP.log:

Does this mean the driver is working, and that my issue lies with the team avalanche installer?

I just reisntalled FF7 on windows 7, installed the 1.02 patch, and then extracted the openGL driver version 7.9b files as instructed.

After the files were extracted I ran FF7Config.exe and in my list of choices it says "OpenGL driver (BROKEN).  I assume this means something has gone wrong, but I don't know what.

I tried choosing Direct 3D and then installing the team avalanche high res patch but it tells me i dont have the openGL driver installed, or at least not correctly.

I would love any help I could get, thanks.

EDIT:  Redid the 1.02 patch, had the choice of custom and got the msg that it was good to go, still the avalanche hi res stuff says the driver inst installed.

Troubleshooting / Issues with Aali's OpenGL driver

Sorry if this is the wrong loction for the thread, seems the most fitting.

So I just reisntalled FF7 on windows 7, installed the 1.02 patch, and then extracted the openGL driver version 7.9b files as instructed.

After the files were extracted I ran FF7Config.exe and in my list of choices it says "OpenGL driver (BROKEN).  I assume this means something has gone wrong, but I don't know what.

I would love any help I could get and its great to see how far this has come since I last passed through.  :)
