Ok, hooray! I finally fixed the issue after almost a night of no sleep. Turns out I'm using an AMD card instead of NVIDIA and I accidentally had the NVIDIA box checked in the configurations menu after running the game converter. Folks out there who are using any cards other than NVIDIA and are running into the same issue as I am, DO NOT check the NVIDIA box by mistake! It'll mess things up! Ok, that's all from me. Thanks for the help again!

Sounds like you're missing your movies. Make sure you have them under your FF7 data\movies folder.

Hi, thanks for your reply. This was my first thought as well. Unfortunately that does not seem to be the case. I checked my movies folder and I have all 105 avi files in there. I also checked to see if 7th heaven is connected to the folder path properly in the settings menu, and it is. Hmm

Hello all,

Recently I got into ff7 modding and downloaded 7th heaven to use the remako mod. I'm using version 1.56 of 7th heaven and have installed 4 remako mods: battle textures, menu avatars, pre rendered backgrounds, and world textures. Everything works fine, but when I go to launch the game, my game is launched full screen into a black window. But nothing happens in the window unless I click it. Then, when I click within this window, the main menu screen with the buster sword comes up. But I can't see any options like new game or continue because they seem to be invisible, although I can move my cursor and hear it going up and down to select. And if I press enter, the selection sound plays but nothing happens after that - no intro cutscene with Aerith or anything. Just a black screen. And then I need to close the window. I've looked for hours for solutions to this problem but have not been able to find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
