Got the resolution fixed, apparently I had 2 versions of 7th Heaven running (didn't know updating kept the old version) and needed to remove the old version.

The game runs but now most of the mods aren't active (despite saying so in 7H) and the audio is awful (sounds like the old 98 MIDI files playing).

Should I just uninstall and reinstall everything?

I don't know what I did wrong but I messed up my ENTIRE install I think (and 7th Heaven).

I tried following the instructions for 7th Heaven but didn't see any part for FFNx, so I assumed I didn't have that game driver.  Found Tsuna's YT tutorial on installing FFNx and followed his instructions.

Now when I open 7th Heaven I still don't see the FFNx options in the general settings and the game launches all messed up unless I deactivate all mods.

FML, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the update!  Made sure to donate as a thank you.

Does this update do anything to help alleviate the memory issue that makes the game crash with graphical/texture mods on?

Troubleshooting / Using D-pad with FF7 on 7th Heaven 2.0
« on: 2020-03-27 00:02:45 »
Hi everyone,

I apologize if this has been covered or if this is the wrong place.  I'm new here and new to 7th Heaven, etc.

I got 7th Heaven 2.0 and an 8bitdo SN30 Pro controller to play FF7 with mods, but I'm trying to make the controls as close as possible to the PS1 original.

I've tried Xinputplus and the controls settings in 7th Heaven but can never get the game to allow Dpad controls.  I can only get them to work when changing the controls in Steam and launching from there (which doesn't load the mods).

How can I get the Dpad to work within 7th Heaven?

Thanks so much and I apologize if this is in the wrong place or been covered many times.
