Troubleshooting / HELP Does anybody know how to install ff7 mods manually?

Hello, i hope someone can help me understand how to install some ff7 backgrounds mods manually, i mean without using 7th heaven or other mod installer programs that i really don't understand. I have donwloaded some background mods, the files are in dds and i also have them in png but i really don't know where to put them so they can work. I hope someone can help me please.

I'm new at this stuff, how do i install this mod withouth using 7th heaven? I mean, what's the manual way to do it? Where should I place the files, does it use aali's tool or...?
