Oh and another question. Is there any way to cure Zombie?

Update I think I found the issue. I didn't have Cloud as the leader of the party I was running around as Cid. Put Cloud back and didn't crash but an answer about Zombie would help lol

there used to be a method to cure zombie status :) which was goblinsong (was way way way too op cost of 0mp too).

I was able to do the fight with both tifa and cid as party leader (whilst cloud was 'missing in action') through the normal party leader forced tifa/cid as leader.

perhaps take out omega first imprisoned only lasts 5atbs or so) so you'd get that party member back and just keep hp topped up.  playing with status effects will also help that battle.

not from the offical team, pretty sure in discord can still download a portable version within the 7thheaven channel. check the annoucements "where did everyone go" may have better luck there. I do believe however from v3 onwards there hasnt been a portable version which would help them keep things a lot more streamlined and indeed way easier to bug fix etc

One other thing I wanted to mention that kinda links with gil farming is the W-Item materia. Because of the stardust item I mentioned earlier, you can get W-Item pretty much right at the beginning of disc 2 and completely eliminate the need for gil farming for the rest of the game. Reason being is because you can morph the razor weeds outside of Wutai into Sylkis Greens right after the events in rocket town. Then, once you loot the chest in Gaia's Cliff for the stardust, just do the W-item glitch and make over 4mil gil each time. So with that being said, is it possible to move the W-item material to somewhere like a post game location instead of right when you get to the great glacier? This could help with balancing the zero gil situation on hard mode by tweaking some of the things you mentioned earlier. Possibly??? What are your thoughts on this?
can morph the kyuvilduns mnt nibelheim instead of the razer weeds as alternative option for the stylkis greens.
I've managed a couple of playthroughs on typeB, Hard, noExP enabled without having to resort to witem duplication methods.  around 2 years ago i streamed a playthrough and had asked to remove the witem glitch, segachief at that point of time prefered players to be able to freely experiment with items.  There is a fix for witem glitch available. pretty sure petfriendlyamy  (the person whom released the awesome scarlet utility) had fixed the glitch for one of her mods.  to be fair the

wouldnt normally see if going the 'regular route', its a really nice reward for exploration imo. When doing noExP run, witem is very useful due to the very little hp of characters exception caitsith (who i equip witem on) due to his huge hp pool. rest of other chars can get one shotted a lot so if they attack anyone bar cait result is usually death, witem pheonixdown's occassionally needed, loads more times pheonixdown+hipot,  otherwise need many more menu's for min/maxxing.  I'd hate to see witem moved to late game, i wouldn't mind in the slightest if the glitch was fixed :)

Risk Ring
 - States in game that it blocks buffs which is true, but also blocks Slow and Stop when viewing character status menu. Haste makes sense because thats obviously a buff, but Slow and Stop are debuffs right? Is this intended? please confirm
most likely as time magic, prob a choice of all or none.  slow can be considered as a buff too as it will make likes of positive status effects last twice as long ;)

death sentence effect still kills. just that the hp isn't reduced to 1 when grit activates will be whatever hp she had prior

segachief had mentioned something like a redo of hardmode called struggle mode in qhimms new threat discord channel.   gil is very easy to come by at all area's is my own thoughts on it gil never really being an issue, from very early game there is a 4 move possible to get 4K gill :) wholeeaters morph into vampire fangs which sell 900gil and have a steal worth a little bit as well.  if do fort condor and sell the items win there is no need farm gil at all.   no idea why think she gets double gil during battles doesnt here, she has 2 innates, one is charging throw (defend after charged to use) the other innate she has is if in front row she uses mug.
think there was a mention of v2.1.x on discord that was a wee while ago, might be worth waiting before replay for update :)
segachief has a hard time of trying to balance between all the modes/types inclusive of wether someone plays with or without exp. alongside the new choice in 7th heaven relaxed mode... there is bound to be some gametypes more suited than others for balance purposes.

I was able to enter the library after opening the safe and getting Vincent.  I had to use Black Chocobo to get the Key to the basement. Once I obtained Vincent, the library door opened when I tried to walk through it. IMO this is a bug since Vincent is supposed to be an optional secret character.

the basement key is in the room where get  vincent typeB at least.

Hey, I'm using New Threat 2.0 in conjunction with Postscripththree's Gameplay Tweaks and edited NT's KERNEL files via the WallMarket tool (mostly some starting item/materia and stat changes, with weapon description changes).

Now, the KERNEL.bin changes all work as expected, but the kernel2.bin changes (weapon descriptions) are just not showing up ingame (but do show when I'm editing the modified KERNEL.bin file via the WallMarket tool).
Any idea what could be the culprit? Would appreciate any help.

Try use New Threats IRO intact.
Extract just the kernel files then edit, create new iro just place at the very top of mod list.
7thheaven has a load order.  most likely another modification is being loaded before your own one.

Found a possible bug related to the mod.

In the temple of the ancients, when you go to the pink pool and see the flashback with Tseng and Elena. Dialog does not come up at all. You can advance the scene but no dialog shows up.

if you have some other field mods on try disable them. otherwise post if typeA or typeB
usually best when reporting possible bugs, to ensure all other mods are disabled when testing which helps narrow things down a lot.

save game from just before the error would also be super useful

In NT 1.5 is there a secret character? The rank up screen shows a question mark character for SP upgrades? Also, could you direct me to Heaven's Cloud for Clouds Ultimate Weapon? These are the last 2 things I need before I can say I've fully done 2.0 & 1.5. They're incredible mods and I hope to see the FF8 NT gain some traction.

no there is not, rather than editing all savepoints to show correctly was left as is.
Directions for heavenscloud v1.5: steal (MUST EQUIP SNEAKGLOVE) enemy is in the north crater from memory :) pretty sure its readme will tell you the location in the item list

:edit: Nevermind I've found out how to do it. For anyone wondering you can unpack the iro with 7th Heaven, edit the kernel then repack the iro.

another method is not to repack the entire iro. just pack the changed file, that way you can put the new iro with just the saved change above newthreats iro so if any updates still have the changes u made intact.

Hello.

Interesting, what is new or different on arranged mode? I´m only played 2.0. on both modes.

all bosses are replaced with 'harder variants' , regular mobs % boost for levels (better balanced imo).

can also unlock a secret 'dance party'

Looking to scratch that FFVII itch, would you guys recommend 1.5 or 2.0?  I’d prefer more altered scenes and new boss fights.  I guess the furthest thing from vanilla lol

would recremmend playing through both :) v2 is easier in general than v1.5. v1.5 has more content. If v2 would try typeB hard. If v1.5 would try arranged mode.

started a new game with the Ragnarok mode + no exp challenge (while not using rare card items). T

stepmine will be your friend :> enjoy did a noexp run on lionheart difficulty which was awesome fun to figure out some of the stuff :)

Can New Threat and 7th Heaven be applied to a psx emulator in windows? Or are they incompatible? Just asking out of curiosity.

7th heaven is designed for pc. the latest beta version is actually designed purely with the steam edition in mind.
the way the mod currently stands is incompatable with the psx and indeed emulation of the console. You could i guess do the field modifications alongside battle data. Having the innate abilities working will be tricky i guess.

it used to revive inclusive of zombyfied party members.  this was changed months ago it only now sometime before febuary cant remember when exactly and was in the patch notes. if your  using a spell names mod, it may not reflect that change.  That enemyskill was way too overpowered before.

Found a weird bug. After defeating Jenova Death, Tifa won't appear in the scene, and thus the game is soft locked. I'll post a save.

i added savefiles directly after the fight, at a savepoint, and upto the next progress. (seeing nibelheim) your own save slot was left untouched.

I have installed the following mods via 7th Heaven and I'm using the Steam version:

1- [Tsunamods] Modern Spell Names. (Active)
2- Spell Textures. (Active)
3- Avalanche Arisen Battle Textures. (Active)
4- World Textures. (Active)
5- World Models. (Active)
6- Rebeerth Mod English. (Disabled)

Would any of these cause the bug that I mentioned prior?

(Edit) I've disabled every mod, and nothing. It happens all the same. I don't know what to do... BTW, how do I check what version I have of New Threat?

upload your savefile will try see what happens for me. i note that you disabled all mods. are you using 7th heaven as a mod manager if so it should tell u the version loaded upon clicking on the mod at the left hand side near the top of the window. by the way so you know qhimms discord is the quickest place to get assistance see threat: https://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=21284.0 on how to join there is specific channel for #new-threat :)  usually someone will be active fairly quickly discord is a live messenging system.

I found a bug that doesn't allow me to continue the story. In the cargo ship when I'm battling against Jenova - Birth when I'm halfway through the fight after I've done a decent amount of damage when Jenova summons the tentacles and the jellyfish creatures the game just crashes, the music still plays, the characters move, but the game doesn't respond, I've left the game running for an hour and nothing, it stays the same, I've re-started the game and the battle again and the same thing happens... It's bizzarre... How can I fix this? How can I get past this obnoxious bug?

I'm playing the new threat story, scenario A, normal difficulty.

do you have other mods installed ? if so try disable all other mods other than new threat itself until past that battle. 
check if latest version if is try an older version of the mod to see if that battle will then work out ok.
