Sorry for bringing this post back up after a month... but does anyone know how to get into the monster arena in Chapter 2? It says Clasko should be there but he's not and it won't let me in. Did I miss something that needs to be accomplished prior to going here?

Yes that is the cave where they find the condensed mako energy (materia) in the flashback... but I don't remember that particular scene... japanese version perhaps?

We don't seem to have one started now that the english release is out, so I'll go first. Just got the game the other day, seems way more polished and fun than FFX from what I've played so far. The dressphere system is... well, interesting. Your thoughts?

It really isn't just that. I am both an MMORPG fan and a Final Fantasy fan, and I can honestly say that it would stand very well as an MMORPG even without the franchise name. It is honestly a well-made game, whether it's FF or not.

The benchmark actually runs -MUCH- slower than the actual game itself (with max settings) on my computer.

It's an MP3 that I got from a friend that sounds like it was made with a good sound-editing program, not quite like the real song. Furthermore, I see nothing about this in the "Forum Rules" post, so if you have such a problem with it then feel free to go ahead and remove it.

It was an old Madcatz PS1 card with 8 pages 
I went through originally and saved 1 page per disc so I could go back to anything I wanted to. And Seph, stop raining on parade's man. I am just trying to get a conversation started about FF9 which doesn't get enough talk on this board IMHO, because it is one of my favorite FF games (sure, flame away). Kuja is a total wuss at this level, yeah, but Necron IS a cheater dangit!
