Updated the mod to V0.3 which includes all of Disc 1, with the last modified boss being Jenova-Life.

General Changes:

-Summons require a pre-requisite "Summon Command" materia to use them.
-Renamed "Prime" Materia to "Assist"
-Ethers give 60MP
-Fury Ring gives +20 Power and Berserk
-Removed Slots (Untested)
-Cloud gets his 2nd level limit after 60 kills
-Cid, Aerith, and Tifa get their limit earlier
-Major Stat curve changes to Barret, Tifa, Cid, Yuffie, and Vincent.
-Fixed glitched materia spawning in on aerith
-Fixed Item materia not working
-Reworked materia slotless weapon group
-Rebalanced several Armor, Weapon, and Accessories.
-Replaced "Megalixir" with "M-Potion"
-Rebalanced "Fervor" Materia
Materia Changes:
-Summon Materia have increased MP costs.
-Added "Formation" Materia
-Added "Cmd. Summon" Materia
-Renamed "Prime" Materia to "Assist"
-Drain materia added to shop in kalm.
-Assist materia purchasable in Corel
-Cosmo Canyon materia shop sells: All, Assist, Cover, and Elemental Materia
-Gil plus materia moved to coaster tracks

Powersoul Challenges:
-Couldn't for the life of me find a way to balance it, currently removed death sentence to balance it.
-Removed materia slots
-Added a crit chance
-Removed magic stat bonus
-Plan to add Death Sentence to disc 2 or 3

Rebalanced and added/removed Enemy skills:
-Death Sentence changed to (Slow-)Numb Sentence, inflicts minor damage to target
-White Wind: MP cost increased
-Big Guard: Inflicts slow rather then haste
-Aqualung: Reduced damage and various other minor changes
-Frog Song // Transform Materia -> Transform Song: Inflicts Frog, Mini, Sleep.
-Lv4 Suicide replaced with Leeches: Inflicts poison and darkness but heals.

Special items for each character they get at their story arc
-Elenor's Pendant: Immunity to several status effects.
-Seto's Claw: Increased materia slots and ignores defense.


Minor Update V0.3.1 Changes:
-Clarified install instructions in the Patcher.
-Reduced the RNG factor in the first boss fight dramatically. (Thanks Sega Chief)

made an account to ask u  somethin, plus spark some creative desire in u

dude ur mod rulez. big time.
but it is time for more, MORE , more i say. lol
i would like to see more story mod , expanded etc, it would be legit.

also i want to make my own story mod, cant find guides, but ur mod has shown me what iz possible
so i want to make one, but after a full playthrou of ur mod.

i seem to make people angry in the moddin scene coz i want to make a mod
so i dont want to ask anybody. but where did U learn how 2 use these toolz

are they ez to use
or do they require computer programmer knowledge

dude i am serious about wanting to make own mod.
a quick ban from discord which i suspect i would of got if i reacted to some rood people there
would be disrespect to my dream. i have a good story in mind, totally unique mod

i need answers about how plausable it iz for me to use these toolz without immense frustration
i dont plan to go into chatrooms coz people suck
i need articles or guides or something to read to learn the toolz.

Scarlet and makou reactor are the starting programs I would recommend. I started a project with those and its turning out well. You just need some trial and error along with it to learn enough make a mod. You don't need to know how to code unless you plan on hex editing.

Updated to version 0.2 Which includes changes for Bottowswell, Jenova Birth, and Dyne.

I also will be making a guide for each of the bosses when I have the time, with the Guard Scorpion Through Sample:HO512 guides being already uploaded.

The Infernal Mod
Difficulty level: Extreme
V0.3.1 has game modifications for the entirety of Disc 1, with more coming soon.

Major changes:
  • Extremely difficult Bosses.
  • Materia, Item, Equipment, and Accessory Rebalances.
  • Removal of EXP from random encounters.
  • Item and Summon commands are removed by default and bound to Materia.

It would be cool to see, even if basically any alternate narrative would be lower quality then the original. For instance any timeline in which you save aerith midgar and most of the planet gets destroyed unless you also break into midgar to break the north crater open.

Pretty much all that to say: Cool, but its too much.

Sephiroth loses his turn without any actions being taken during the Nibleheim flashback against the dragon and the new boss you added if you have Ochu open.

I got an Item called New Game +, I assume this was a cool Easter egg lol. I remember that I checked the same chest in V1.5 and mentioned it to you that it had nothing in it.

I love the mod, V1.5 was my favorite mod ever a while back, but I would like to make a list of some of the problems/nitpicks I had with part B of the 2.0 version. I am currently at the whirlwind maze.
1. Using Tifa's limit causes a softlock when used on Sephiroth in the Jenova Death fight, or at least something caused it to softlock twice in a row.
2. The plate never falling in part B leaves a pretty big hole in the story. What happened to Jesse, Bigs, etc. I like the idea of a faster Midgar especially on repeat playthroughs, but I feel as though the plate should still fall, even if its offscreen.
3. A lot of the fights had unique bosses for no reason, which isn't necessarily bad, but fighting random soldiers was a downgrade in my opinion and so was fighting the bosses that where designed for other parts of the game in V1.5
