7th Heaven / Graphical glitches: screen flickering and flashing black screens

Hi guys, I've been trying to get 7th Heaven to work but for some reason these weird glitches where there's a bunch of black squares and rectangles that pop up randomly every split second and I've been trying to figure out how to get rid of it. I know it's not caused by any of the mods because I've tried playing the game with them turned off and still ran into the same problem whether they were turned on or off. I believe it's because of my driver that I use to launch the game because I saw another thread where someone reported the exact same issue I did only the solution that they were offered didn't help me either. I tried using Direct X12 and it would just get stuck on a black screen and eventually just crash and every other option either crashes or works but doesn't fix the screen flickering. Anyone know how I can fix this? I'd love to play this game with all these awesome mods!
