You can change a lot of things here, I assume you should run it in compatibility mode for windows 98?

Hi everyone, this is my first day on this forum.
Anyway, what I wanted to speak about is the new squaresoft games and most of all the new FF games.

I am a little interested in the new FF games, what are they like?
Is it worth getting a PS2 just to be able to play FF X for an example?
The most recent squaresoft game I played was FF8, so I guess you could say I am a little bit out of date :P

I mainly own old squaresoft games like: Secret of mana, Chrono trigger, Final Fantasy 1,4,5,6 (as you might have guessed I collect retro games) and of course I own Final Fantasy 7 and 8 to my PC :)

Use Iso buster (or whatever program you like the best) make iso:s of the CDs, then load 'em in daemon tools! (or whatever.....)
I do this myself too, My CDrom sounds like a fucking harley-davidson (pardon my French), and it speeds up all the time making extremly enoying sounds.

My FF8 Constantly crashes when walking of the boat at the War-area with Seifer, Squall and Zell (you know.. the place you go to when your gonna get your SeeD exame).
Anyway, It doesn't crash at once when walking of the boat, you know first you are in the screen with the boat on the beach where quistis reminds you to equip your GF, when you exit that screen the game crash.
When it crash it looks exactly as if you press Alt-F4, only difference is that you are not actually pressing alt-F4 :P

Anyway, thought I should give you some info on my comp too.
I use a Tbird 1333, 256mb sdram, Geforce 2 ti200 and Windows XP prof.
(and yes, I have installed the latest GF patch.)

I hope you guys can help me out in some way  8)
