Bootleg Questions / Re: [Tutorial] Tifa's Bootleg

Ok, so now I have met another problem regarding the windowed mode. I'm using the complex shader preset, and everything runs smoothly on the fullscreen. But when I uncheck the fullscreen-option and run the game in window, the game runs clearly more slow than on fullscreen. What could be causing this?

I have problems running the bootleg on windowed mode. On fullscreen it works perfectly on every default settings and shared, but when I uncheck the fullscreen it changes my desktops resolutioin to very low and the windowed game looks very bad.

Here is a print screen of the game's title screen on my desktop.

What am I doing wrong?

I found the solution for this. I had to venture all the way to my Steam-folder where the game exe was and disable everything in it's properties compatibility tab, except the "Run as administrator" thing. Nonetheless, thanks Kompass for trying to help me.

I am working on a slight fix on this great OST. As some of you may have already noticed, the songs have some empty space on their beginning, and the ending isn't the possible for good looping. Currently I am working on these issues. I am cutting the empty space from the songs' beginning and cutting a part from their end, making the looping sound as good as possible.

But I don't have much time, so it may take to the end of the week to get CD1 done. But wait patiently.

Ok, so I have a problem with FF7Music. I have Windows 7 and I used this guide to config FF7Music right.http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=8245.0

I have succesfully managed to mute the midi music, and I am able to hear all sound effects. But I cant get mp3's working at all. Anyone have any ideas why I can't hear any music?

EDIT: Got it to work!

Now I've got another bug. After installing the custom graphics driver and installing PRP, I run the PRP-exe as admin. Then it says "Cant load movie plugin" and exits the game. Someone fix this, PRP is full of bugs.

It would be great that this patch would work with other mods. I keep crashing with PRP at the same spot all the time, but I think that the problem is in the PRP, not the compatibility. Because PRP crashes even if I dont apply official 1.02 patch.

I have a problem with this patch.

I installed succesfully FF VII (not Ultima version) and it worked like a charm. Then I installed official 1.02 patch, again, it worked. Then I installed Aliis drivers, still working as it should. After those I installed FFVII-PRP. It works nicely until the first fight. I am able to kill the soldiers, but when it should go to the exp and gil screen, FF VII crashes, and exits to Windows.

Whats wrong?
