Troubleshooting / Soft lock in North Crater

Each time I attempt to climb this section, I am booted back down to the lower level.. once I am booted down if I attempt to climb back up the character will just walk into the wall endlessly. I have attempted to get passed this point around 20+ times now and it has been the same every single time.
