Troubleshooting / Pirated copy... But it's not tho !

Hello there,
I recently got the 2012 Steam Version of the game, and i thought i'd mod it to redo a playthrough of the game... But i guess i'm not for now, as 7th heaven gets bombarding me with messages that it's a pirated copy...
But it's actually not, and i don't understand why it think it is.
I tried switching the language to english, and redownloading it multiple times, as well as verifying the file integrity... But no, it just won't work...
Hell i even tried using an older version of 7th heaven entirely, same result ...
