That’s really helpful, thanks for taking the time to figure this out and share it. I think a lot of people using the GOG offline installer run into the same issue with the installer not recognizing the folder, so your workaround with the ff7\workingdir path and renamed exe is a great tip. Even if you only tested up to the first battle, just knowing it launches correctly with the presets is already a big relief. I’m going to try this method on my setup later.
